Memphis Music Records Tapes & Souvenirs

Super cute record store and souvenirs on Beale Street. They have all the tshirts, magnets, and postcards you could want. However, their vinyl collection really was fantastic. I would never put a record in my luggage or else I may have dropped some money here, as their selection was better than what I have found at home. I did get some postcards and a magnet. I had three more flights before going home or I may have picked up a mug, as well. Their selection is good and the people are friendly. And if you are a postcard sender, like I am, there is a post office on Main.

Some very cheap postcards, one very cheap magnet and one VERY expensive tshirt. I now have "treasure" from Memphis. I probably should have checked the tshirt price but hey, how often will I be here and buying souvenirs?Lots of other stuff to choose from but this is what caught my eye today.[Review 19857 overall - 409 in Tennessee - 830 of 2023.]

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice selection of vinyl records. Daughter found some fun souvenirs for her roommates! Overall, it's a great little shop!

Absolutely awful service. I called and all I needed was a simple DI. The lady on the phone said she didn't know anything about music. She also told me the only person that did work there that knew anything about what I was talking about wasn't in and I would have to call the next day. Don't really understand how someone is working there and doesn't know anything about music at all. Definitely would not recommend this place.

This store has it all. CD's, records, high quality shirts/hats, souvenirs, etc.. Not to mention the owner Dr Malcom's hospitality and musical knowledge is top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND when visiting Beale st.

LOVED this stop for awesome Memphis souvenirs. Super cool shirts to choose from. Great records! But, my favorite was the help that I received by the shopkeep... I think he was the owner?? Sooooo nice and knowledgeable. Best shop that I went in through all my Memphis travels.

Had a brief, but fun time here! Friendly staff, completely on point with their recommendations. (Was wearing a jacket with buttons and patches on it, was immediately pointed to their wall of buttons and patches.) A genuinely eclectic mix of music, from soul and blues to punk and hip hop. TL;DR- great staff, cool baubles and trinkets and an incredibly wide range of music, though it was mostly records and not CD's. Everyone could find something!

Meh! Not what I was hoping for. Basically a souvenir shop with some CDs and records shoved in the back. Took a quick walk around but nothing was worth my attention. If you want a few magnets or souvenirs this is the spot. Don't go out of your way expecting a true music shop.

Place was fun. Small store w souvenirs and limited supply of new vinyl. Right on Beale Street. Friendly staff. A must visit!

Amazing staff and awesome vibe! The owner is full of local recommendations and blues history I strongly recommend a quick stop in and get the feel of what it's all about!!
