Memphis Escape Rooms

I had some difficulty finding this place at first put everything worked out. The place is actually in the basement of the building so look for the Escaped Room sign on the side of the building.Parking can be tight so try to car pool if you are coming during the busy hours. The staff did a good job explaining the room to us along with giving us hints at the right time. I really enjoy escape rooms. Good team building exercise.

Just wanted to update and say that Memphis Escape Rooms has only gotten better over the years! Their new rooms are somehow even more spectacular than their old rooms, and there's always something new! This has become a birthday tradition for both my husband and myself!

they have wonderful escape rooms i have been there twice and both times it was really fun and clean 10/10 would recommend

We took some young couples to the Memphis Escape Rooms in East Memphis and had a blast. The staff was very courteous and receptive and the room we were was really neat. It is ingenious how they create the stories and place the clues around the room. We did Shadow Manor and it was great! This is a great activity for couples or families (14 and over). Highly recommended.

This was probably the most immersive environment I have ever been to. It is set up to look like you're inside of a magician's tower. There's a cool video before hand explaining the storyline. Then you get to work out the puzzles, which had a good amount of technology involved. The only things I didn't like was they gave us a ton of hints, even before we really had a chance to struggle too much. It got to the point where the people with me were begging them to stop because they wanted to try and solve it on their own. Sooo that was a little frustrating. The only other thing is one of the last puzzles was glitched and the technology wasn't working that great. It took longer to solve because the wand hadn't been calibrated or the sensor wasn't picking it up well. I'm glad we had a lot of time left at the end or else it would've been kinda stressful and far more upsetting if that had been why we hadn't been able to get out. Besides those issues, the rest of the room was really cool. There were enough puzzles to keep our group of four entertained. We often swapped puzzles when something wasn't working to figure out what we had messed up. It was a lot of fun and I would come back and try another room sometime.

This is our second venue in Memphis. It was challenging enough to be fun from start to finish. But not too challenging ....because my husband was able to contribute this time. Awesome setup and customer service, she was super sweet. Thank you for a memorable & unique date night!!

I just escaped 'Magicians Code' - OMG our of over 15 rooms I have attempted to escape from this just jumped to the top of my favorite list!!! Amazing theming, awesome unique puzzles. Some rooms just feel the same (find this key, and this key and that key) - not this room - everything was fun to solve. If you like escape rooms you will love this one for sure!!!

Great rooms with some surprising puzzles and fun tech. Also an amazing and friendly staff. I definitely recommend them for a good time!

While you're in the room, there is a timer counting down to the end, which really gets your adrenaline pumping. You're all detectives using various skill sets to uncover each clue. Skills include: Logic, analytical abilities, curiosity, intuition, and more. It uses ALL of your senses.As you solve one riddle, it leads you to the next. It's kind of like a scavenger hunt. The Memphis Escape Rooms allow up to seven people per group at $20 each. They're planning to have five different escape rooms at this location, using up to three rooms at a time. There's a "Mayflower Room," a "What's in the Box Room" is available, they're planning a "Halloween Room" and more. During my trip here, another group canceled at the last minute so we only had four people in our escape room. Most groups that escape have the full seven people.It's absolutely exhilarating!

Shabby. Needs a makeover. Not at all what I anticipated and hoped for, as it was my daughter's birthday, plus it was pricey. Not worth my hard earned cash.
