Memaw's Country Diner

Stuck in a corner of a busy truckstop, this clean and cozy little restaurant is offering up a range of familiar Southern comfort food in a meat and three style. Daily specials feature meat and vegetables cooked like your grandmother used to serve.Tried their country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, English peas and fried okra today and it was all very good. The homemade roll was exceptional. Will be back to try some of their other options including a nice breakfast menu served daily until 10:30 am.

We decided to stop in at Memaw's about 5 hours in to a long roadtrip and we're so happy we did! Memaw's did not disappoint with their amazing (very large) cheeseburgers, onion rings and homemade ranch. This cute little gem does not just serve up great food but we were also immediately greeted by the sweetest staff. I was told they just opened a few months back so stop in to show this place some love, you too will not be disappointed.

Great service with great food. A lot of foods I like is exactly what they have. I vary up my selections. I always get something different. And I always usually like my choices. It's all about variety. It of course is southern cooking.
