Mediterranean Grill

I have driven by this restaurant every week for months, but I normally do so in the mornings when they are closed. Today, I had a chance to stop in. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant part: small, cozy, and ethnic music videos playing behind the bar. I have read other reviews, which weren't favorable to the layout of this restaurant, but if you've ever been outside of the U.S. you know not all restaurants and food places look like an American example. I love this place.I ate a small, quick plate of Lamb Gyro and fries. Also, I had the Turkish coffee...absolutely amazing!! The food was cooked hot and fresh. The owner and staff are nearby but respectful and don't come by to see how you are. I hope to be a regular here, if I can be around in the afternoons.

This place is a surprising gem. I was thinking from the curb appeal it was a full service restaurant but once walking it, there is a storefront and then the restaurant towards the back of the building. Easy street parking available. I did call in advance to place my order. When arrived the pick up process was simple and the staff was friendly. The only thing is they do not have Apple Pay right now so make sure you have a physical card or cash on you. The food was flavorful and relatively priced well for the amount of food given. I will return to try some other menu options.

Good food here. My wife and I had been wanting to give this place a try so we stopped in for lunch the other day. We went on a holiday and they had a very limited staff - the owner and his son were it. We sat ourselves and were greeted promptly and provided menus. Since this was our first time here, we had some questions which were answered well...very knowledgeable on the menu items. We started off with some falafel. It was very tasty...soft on the inside, nice and crunchy on the outside. I ordered the gyro and my wife ordered the shawarma wrap. In spite of the fact that they were fairly busy and there were just two staff members on site, the food came out pretty quickly. My gyro was very tasty, nothing overbearing or overloaded yet still very flavorful. It was served with some gardenia pickled vegetables inside...which was a bit different than I am used to with other gyro spots in town. My wife enjoyed her shawarma wrap as well. I snuck a little bite and, like the gyro, it was packed with flavor. I only wish that they had fresh cut fries. The presentation of the fries, in one of those mini fry baskets, was really cool...but I would prefer fresh cut fries. Overall, it's a nice spot and we'll most likely be back to try something else.

Our favorites are baba ganoush, mansef!!!!, and chicken shawarma. Baba ganoush comes with pita. Wonderfully homemade, you can taste the charred and smokiness of eggplant. We can never finish the large, but it's so good that we always get that size. We also love the gyro and baklava, but the first three are our favorite. Such a sweet husband and wife owner. We've done phone orders both times, paid in person. Highly recommend. One of our go to restaurants.

Turkish coffee was exactly what I needed. There was no wait. Excellent atmosphere. Shawarma was too spicy for daughter but great for me. Baklava made a delicious treat. Wonderful experience.

The restroom sinks don't work, so I couldn't wash my hands after using the restroom. Chicken kebab was bland and I had to order garlic Mayo just to enjoy it. The salad was actually good. Fresh ingredients with romaine not iceberg. Rice was bland. Vibe was really weird. Seems maybe they are going out of business. My son's shawarma was the tiniest shawarma I've ever seen - it's not a kids version and he's a teen. Fortunately no one in my party got sick. They served a hot chocolate to a child that was boiling hot so that he couldn't drink it until it was time to go. I don't know what's going on with that place but we won't be back. Gave two stars literally for the salad.

This place is great. The only issue I had was that the chicken was a bit dry but it was tasty. Beware the pickled vegetables are spicy and will clear your sinuses. The Baba Ganoush was very good, all the pitas were perfect. Shawarma and Gyro platter were good with very crispy fries. We will be back soon.

Used food of your mood delivery service. We ordered a gyro (came with fries), side order of fries, and 6 hot wings. All of the food was deliciousFries were a little limp, but seasoned well. Gyro was packed full and I especially liked whatever the pickled vegetables were in it. They added crunch & a tartness. Hot wings were mild for us but easily fixed at home with hot sauce. I was disappointed that no ranch, blue cheese or other dipping sauce came with the wings. Wings were cooked very nicely, not dry. But I recommend getting sauce on the side if getting take out or delivery as the sauce on the wings tends to make the crispy skin get a little soggy by the time you get them home. I wish I had taken pictures but in all honestly we attacked the food as soon as we got it inside. We were very HANGRY . A great meal that I didn't have to leave my house for! I will be wanting to try dining in the restaurant soon to try more items. Update 2nd order from Food of Your Mood delivery. The Mediterranean Combo is enough to share. It's wonderful. This time I got the wings dry with hot sauce on side & was very pleased with the crispness of the chicken. They put fries in it this time. They didn't last time. I'm so impressed with this local GEM!

After climbing, my friend and I stopped here for a bite. The server was so friendly and nice. He immediately told us if we were in a rush to not order from the dinner menu, he didn't mean it rudely but in a considerate of one's time way. My friend got the lamb gyro and had only intended to eat half, but ended up eating all of it! Restaurant is not loud so you can actually have a conversation as well!

Really great! Friendly staff even though there was quite a crowd. Good was delicious! Don't be put off by the outside of the shop.
