Mediterranean Bakery & More

Great place as always! Picked up a few things and grabbed a bite for dinner. They always have fresh homemade Mediterranean dishes. They are set up like a small grocery store for Mediterranean ingredients, spices, meats, and some frozen sections. The guy that owns the place is always very nice. If your not sure about the taste. He will give you a sample. They have the best homemade hummus I have ever had! They have a full menu and will cook anything you want. I highly recommend this place if your looking for Mediterranean food or just something a little different. They also have a small sections with Hookah pipes and accessories.

Absolutely amazing and kind service. It took a little long but it was only three people in the entire building at the time. The food was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely coming back Free Palestine

I stopped in to have a quick meal as I've been looking for great Mediterranean food to eat in Desoto County. I ordered the lamb/beef gyro plate to go. The food was amazing. I have no complaints. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The rice was delicious. The small salad made everything come together. Service was great as well. There are also some grocery items you can buy in there, but I didn't do any shopping. I browsed the aisles and saw a lot of seasonings, canned goods, etc. If you're into cooking Mediterranean food, consider shopping at this location for their variety of offerings. I'll definitely be back!

Heard about this place off of Nextdoor. We have been traveling into Memphis for good gyros, when we were able to at all. It's a full working store but in the back there is a menu and all sorts of sweet stuff. We ordered two gyros and four falafel balls to go. I found some big packages of chopped spinach and some little cookies with dark chocolate and raspberry. The food we brought home was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was his sandwich had more sauce than mine and I wished mine had more. The food was amazing. We will be back!

My husband and I went in today. The cashier greeted us as we walked by him headed to the counter where they serve food. A gentleman was behind the counter where the meat was and the female was in the back mixing something, we were visible to both. We stood there for a few minutes and I'm wondering why no one is taking our order. I notice a sign that said RING BELL FOR SERVICE so we did. We continued to stand there as another customer came in got a few items and began to check out, we are STILL standing at the food counter waiting and I can clearly see the female continue doing what she is doing in the back. Finally, I decided to leave. We've eaten from this restaurant several times but today was surely our last.

If you're looking for real authentic Mediterranean food, then you need to come and eat here. You can eat on site or take it to go. They cook it fresh and depending on what you order, it can take some time. Anywhere between 15-20mins. I usually call it in and by the time I get there, it's usually ready. We have eaten there 3 times now, never been disappointed, and the food is always fresh and delicious. It's a small grocery store and bakery. Always very clean inside, offer a lot of foreign products from spices, sweets, and a variety of produce. All the off the grill meals (pictured) come with a salad, humus, a pita, smoked rice, and all of it tastes devine. We always get fresh pita and humus to eat through the week. Usually only lasts a few days because it tastes amazing. And to end it all, we love their baklava! They have 3-5 different flavors at all times. We really love the pistachio baklava and highly recommend it. All the employees are great and friendly to speak with. If you want something new and healthier, I HIGHLY recommend you give them a try.

This market is fantastic! It's very clean, and the staff is friendly and courteous. They recently started serving Gyros, falafel and shawarma made to order. I can say the falafel is about as good as it gets. They also make fresh baklava, dolamas, etc. and have a halal meat counter. I'm overjoyed they are here!

Had an amazing gyros sandwich here this afternoon. Real off-the-spit gyros meat with lamb and beef, plus a nicely dressed pita with the trimmings. The best gyros by far in Memphis, and in my mind, the best outside of Chicago.Pretty neat grocery store too--all sorts of exotic (to me) foods/spices/etc.

A coworker brought me dinner from this place the other day and these kebabs were top tier!

Food is delicious with a good variety with daily specials & I love the selection of balaclava and the staff is very helpful.
