Best chicken and fries in town- HANDS DOWN!! Best sauces too!!! Always good, never fails.

You gotta come with stronger game if you're gonna sell chicken in the South. The chicken itself is nothing to write home about, but more than that the experience was just lack luster. Also, management needs to step up and put some attention to detail. The cut corners are evident everywhere you look.

I was working in Brentwood today and stopped in for a quick lunch. I've eaten here before and it's a good spot to grab some chicken Tenders and fries. They have salads and sandwiches also. They have quite a few sauces to choose from along with dipping sauces. All of the sauces I've tried are good. The staff are friendly and the interior is casual. There is a free parking lot and they do have some outdoor tables covered by umbrellas. I got a 2 piece tender snack pack and it cost a little bit more than a fast food combo. The food came out in about 10 minutes. I think they have another location in Nashville.

Customer service is absolutely 10 stars and the food was great too! Since this was our first time here, Dan walked us through the menu and helped us with sauce recommendations. Super friendly without being overbearing and he was definitely authentic, he really enjoys what he does.I ordered my wings sauced and the chicken tenders naked with sauce on the side. I liked the wings slightly better than the chicken tenders but Tommy, the owner, said saucing the tenders is the way to go, he was right! We tried the sauced tenders next courtesy of Tommy and now it's a tougher decision between the two. Both excellent in their own right. All of the sauces were really good and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy and the toast was nice and crispy as well.The ambiance is very family friendly with icee machines and duck claw machines. They have some TVs and good music playing but you can still have a conversation over the music.Great overall vibe. Would definitely recommend!

The original McDougal's is a classic Nashville experience. Once that structure sustained heavy fire damage in September of 2022, it was devastating for locals. Thankfully, a second McDougal's lies a mere 1.2 miles away on 12th Avenue South. Even better for us Brentwoodians, McDougal's made their triumphant return to Williamson County with this spot in Maryland Farms opening just before Christmas of 2022.The store is only 1,360 feet inside the county, just a few steps beyond the southern fringes of Nashville along Old Hickory Boulevard and situated in a great location where they'll get plenty of business and loyal customers. Brentwood's food scene just got a little better! I've often said that a McDougal's chicken finger is one of the top 25 best foods you'll ever eat amongst Nashville's insanely competitive food scene. It's a thing of beauty, an enormous piece of chicken deep fried to perfection with an extra crispy exterior while maintaining an impossibly juicy and tender interior! Yum!I've bestowed five-star ratings on the original McDougal's, the former Cool Springs and Nolensville locations, and their Edgehill branch on 12th Avenue. I'm going to give this particular outlet four stars for one necessary reason. The typically delicious fries at the other locations were not what they should be here. About 70% were perfect, the other 30% were so burnt and brittle they were essentially inedible blackened crumbs. And it was even my birthday dinner. Sigh. I'd probably chalk that up to the very young employees who are still getting their feet wet in the fast-food business. Oh well.Other than that, we have no complaints and hope that the fries improve. Thankfully, they're cashless as no business in 2023 really needs to accept cash any longer. I mean who pays in cash other than 80-year-olds? Thanks for maintaining excellent quality and upholding the franchise name at the newest McDougal's location!

This has been my favorite fried chicken in Nashville since I was a Belmont student frequenting the Hillsboro location. Now I'm a mom of 2 kids who attend preschool nearby and we LOVE the Brentwood location! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the toddlers love the rubber ducky machine (and they LOVE when the staff sneaks them a ducky to take home), the food is fantastic, and the drinks are still 2-for-1 like back in the day. And when the weather's nice, the side turf yard for the kids to run around simply can't be beat!

The quality of the chicken and all of the choices in sauces make McDougals a long time favorite for our family. We also enjoy the many TVs to watch a game there as well.

The McDougals we've known and loved for years! An upgraded version of the Belcourt Ave classic. Same great food and inside vibe with a wonderful patio and cornhole outside. Great service as always.

Portion sizes have been cut in half. Prices haven't dropped and there is no icee machine anymore. Pretty sure they won't make it. Sad to see because I've enjoyed it, but will not be back.

If I could give them 6 stars, I definitely would! Shelby at the counter asked us how we were doing and actually wanted to know lol. Then she was super helpful since it was our first time in. We were impressed with the wings, but then blown away by the gold style and honey bee tossed chicken fingers!! Tommy the owner was super friendly and you can tell they have a great service culture! Thanks McDougal's, you made a raving fan out of us!!
