i was excited to visit but was disappointed in my lunch experience. ordered the pimento fritters and they were great just a little cool. philly steak egg rolls also left me a bit disappointed, not hot and the cheese just congealed. grilled chicken tenders were unseasoned and the salad bar was depleted of many items. on a positive note, the chicken sandwich was said to be delicious! one final note, customers that arrived after 1:30 were refused seating although hours said until 2:00? my advice go early and stick with the chicken sandwich ‍

Enjoyed the "special" at Market Cafe. Had hamburger steak w green bead and double helping of mac n cheese.3.75 stars on the "special" hamburger steak and Mac n cheese was excellent but the green beans were too sweet for me.4 stars - Atmosphere nice but the music just aLittle bit loud5 stars - accommodations on Tables and booth ratio5 stars - service was great. Tremendous southern hospitality! Linda was one of the nicest servers I've ever had at any restaurant!I got the blackened grouper with crawfish cream sauce and it was wonderful!Highly recommend this gem

This is an excellent local spot to make a stop at!! It's in a small little town in Mississippi that does not disappoint with traditional vision of the American Small town. This fine hometown restaurant has an excellent menu and an extremely friendly wait staff. I myself ordered their chicken sandwich, buffalo style, and it was extremely delicious!! The breading was just right and buffalo sauce was not over powering! The fries came seasoned with what appeared to be a very tasty truffle salt. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend taking the trip to visit this eatery.

Customer services is horrible I was in the restaurant on Monday for lunch and I understand being busy but rude is totally unacceptable!!! The owner Alice waited on me and not only did she put my change on the counter when my hand was right there waiting to receive it she also handed me my food with no bag and the box would not closed. I ask her could I get it in a bag she literally handed me the bag to bag it myself. She didn't converse with me but instead held another conservation as if I wasn't there.

Awesome food, great selection, friendly staff and very clean facilities. Laura is the sweetest.

OhMyGoodness!! What a Gem in Downtown Louisville!! The restaurant is so cute & fun!! The staff are very sweet & helpful!! Food is Great!! We had the Down South Burger with Homemade Pimento Cheese & Grilled Onions!! Yummy!!

Amazing food, customer service was great. Need more items on menu. Just wish they would be open on weekends.
