Margaritas

Walked in at approximately 2:45- waited for someone to seat us- long line of people checking out or picking up to go orders. Waited several minutes and the server dropped off chips and salsa- asked for queso and she said wait. Several minutes later - she came and took our drink and queso order. She then came back with drinks ( the tea was wrong) and queso and took our order- we were onto order off the lunch menu, but she tapped her watch and said dinner now- it was 3:10 ( lunch is until 3). So we regrouped and ordered - our granddaughter wanted chicken and cheese enchiladas- I told her chicken and cheese only and she repeated it twice- she asked how many and we said 2. After another long wait and having to ask another server who walked by for more chips- the food arrived. The enchiladas had shredded chicken, onions and peppers and cheese- the child of course wouldn't eat those and I had not ordered them that way- so I called her back over and asked her to please have them remade with only chicken and cheese. She then asked if I wanted shredded or grilled chicken and I told her it didn't matter, just no peppers and onions, she left and came back and said it would be a $2 up charge for grilled chicken and that's the way they came. We agreed, but that was crazy for the two tiny enchiladas. Service was terrible( we still tipped 20%)- food was meh- menu was soiled when it was given to us. Terrible experience and right at $60 for 2 adults and 1child with only a tea that was supposed to be sweet but wasn't a water and a kids Dr. Pepper. Go somewhere else- too many good places to waste your time and money here

Okay so I have been here many of times. For starters good luck getting them to bring you your check. Everytime I have ever been in there I have waited at LEAST 30 minutes on it.... The last time I ate inside, we ordered margaritas and I guess the waiter just assumed we weren't getting food so he didn't come back for a long time... they officially lost my business a couple of months ago. We ordered a to go order and when we arrived the order sat on the counter for 30 minutes because " their system was down" and the staff were kind of ignoring us. Don't waste your time or money here.

This is the new location in Millington and it's pretty big. Has lots of booths and tables and makes it easier for them to accommodate large parties. We went inbetween a busy time. We waited maybe ten minutes for a booth. We were greeted right away by our server and he was very quick getting our drinks.As you know I'm always looking for horchata and this place did not disappoint. Mix it up a little to let the ice do its job. A plus is they have free refills on their horchata. Can't go wrong with that. The chips and salsa were a nice way to start off the meal. The chips were fresh and the salsa was smooth with a slight kick to it. I ordered the birria tacos. It was a lot but I liked the way they were made. They were dipped then fried so all the flavor was packed into the shell. The dipping broth was well seasoned also. The taco salad comes with more than what comes in your average taco salad such as queso for no additional charge. They have a pretty wide selection of good on their menu and I'll be back to work my way through it.

My food was lukewarm, did get the cheese dip, beer was ordered but not delivered. Our waiter Alfredo was not good at all.

Terrible. Waiting about 10 min to get acknowledged. Then I got waiting on about 15min after sitting down. Then I was brought one of the worst pieces of chicken I have ever tried to eat. It was like chewing on a tire. When asked how it was, I was honest. I was asked if I would like to see the manager. My reply was; yes, I would like to explain the food problem, but not looking for anything for free (although I had taken about 3 bites. The server came back and said that the amanger did not want to talk to me, but was taking the food off the ticket. On the way out, I asked the ma ager why he did not want to speak to me, and he just looked at me and said "have a nice day sir". I will never be back. Worst mexican food ever. I know things happen, and wasn't going to leave a review until the manager gave his reaction. I also overheard the waitresses talking about how bad he was.

Wish there were 0 stars - trash food, trash service - worst food I have eaten in 20 years - friend I was with had to leave mid-meal because he had to throw up - do not come here!

This place sucks bad management everyone is running around not knowing what they doing! I was sitting for 40 minutes at the bar before I got a drink !!

This was my first visit to the new location in Millington! The new location boosts lots of roomy seating- tables and booths. The various tables that can be joined are conducive to groups! I loved the furniture- nice heavy chairs with comfy cushions--so often the chairs at restaurants are flimsy and uncomfortable- but NOT THE CASE AT MARGARITAS in Millington! Outdoor patio had the football game projected on the wall!! I give a five stars to the pleasant atmosphere and seating!! Ok- on to the food and service- food was excellent ! Menu is large! Everything was hot! The menu has a "all you can eat" option and an anaconda burrito! Check those out! I got the tortilla soup- I loved the deconstructed way the soup was served--you add your own rice and tortilla chips! Service was a bit slow- we did have to wait too long for a water refill and asked twice for extra napkins. But overall- the dining experience was pleasant and we will return! Go check out the new digs!

Visit the new Margaritas in Lakeland, food was great, our waiter, Freddy, was very attentive and the added plus of having the multiple TV screens (over 10) programmed to your favorite game of the weekend. DON'T COME TO MARGARITAS IN MILLINGTON!!! EVERYTHING IS WRONG!!! We ordered 2 for 1 Baked Potatoes and they were cold AND not enough cheese. When I asked for more cheese they said that it will be a charge for it! And don't even think about asking for cherries for your drink because there will be a charge for those as well!!! This restaurant has gone to HELL IN A HAND BASKET...and the consumer has to suffer for it!!! Used to be myFavorite Restaurant, but not ANYMORE!!! You can't charge customers for your losses and expect support!!!
