Mannings BBQ

Not the best I have eaten, but definitely not the worst. The cold slaw was cold which is good, but the bun was also. The meat was room temp and the beans were tepid. The beans needed to be baked much longer. They taste like they are straight out the can with a little bbq sauce. The whole place needs a good cleaning. With the front of the house this dirty I would hate to see the back. No hand soap in the bathroom.

Food is good, but a little on the expensive side in my opinion, especially since everything comes out on styrofoam and paper plates. It feels like it should be your hole-in-the-wall pulled pork place, but they charge more like they're one of the bigger guys even though it's no-frills. Restaurant is very small with maybe just three tables total. I believe most of their business is driven through catering as it is a service they offer and the parking lot is always empty when I've come. I wish them all the best in 2021!

The pull pork plate was just done right awesome an the bbq sauce is sooooo good the only thing that would make this place better is if they had fries only thing make the plate better an another thing always eat local thanks

Not a bad sandwich, pulled pork could use more smoke instead of a lot of sauce, slaw ok. Order at counter and carry out only. Convenience store who cooks and sells bar b q as a side. Give it a try.

When you walk to the restaurant you can smell hickory wood smoking. That is a tale - tale sign of a real BBQ restaurant. We ordered Jumbo BBQ plates with slaw and beans. When we received our food, the portions were huge. The meat was extremely tinder with a nice smoky taste. The meat had not been steamed and was very tasty. They served a creamy Cole slaw and the beans were good but not great. Overall, the BBQ was excellent. It was ever bit as good as the last time I was at Corkey's in Memphis. I would recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to going back to have the ribs. They are not busy for some reason, but it is definitely not because of the food, portions or price.

Manning's has good BBQ. It's hickory smoked over actual hickory, not steamed in hickory flavored water the way some places do it. Good ribs. The pulled pork is generally good but can be a little dry if you order right at closing time (the nature of the cooking method means the meat is smoked early in the day). Very good ribs. Sides are OK, but I don't remember being blown away by them. Friendly service. It's more of a convenience store with seating, great for a quick lunch or dinner, but not really a sit-down type of eatery. Probably not a place for a first date, for example, but great for a "let's grab takeout and watch a movie" type of evening.

These reviews are hilarious! First of all the this is a hole in the wall BBQ place that packs your mouth with sticky savory sweet hickory flavors leaving you eager for another round. The girls has never been rude like another review stated, havent really asked or seen much of the owner. The place isn't your Sunday lunch dine-in, You'll definitely have to get it to go. Although what they don't have in space they make up for it with flavor! Ribs are to die for absolutely hands down best I've had in all the surrounding counties. Fat on the ribs melts like butter. Pulled pork is delicious as well. Never ordered sides so that's up for debate but if you're looking for your next favorite BBQ you just found it. Enjoy -Aaron

Great barbecue. They cook smoke it themselves at the restaurant. The service is always good but the seating is limited. It's more of a take out place.

Enjoy the Family Pack BBQ, had four people and it was more than enough. Everything was very good with excellent service.

Not good. I ordered a rib plate and it had no flavor. The service was slow. I would not recommend this place.
