Mama Mea's

Stopped by for lunch and ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a calzon.The location seems very quaint on the side of the road with plenty of parking in the front.The interior was good, lots of seating for families.The pizza was average. The dough was alright. The calzone was like a folded up pizza.The service was nice. We were greeted and seated. Took a second to get our check.Overall, it's a great stop in for lunch. It's pretty decent.

Very slow service and very mediocre food. I have been here once and that was enough for me. It wasn't even busy but the waitress could've cared less if we were left to wait and wait

I don't know how anyone can call this place anything more than 1 star tried out the pizza cause we are out of town and it's missing some pizza and the excuse I was given by the manager was "we have high school kids cutting the pizza" then when I asked for a refund the owner could give me one because even though the quality is not there they still make you pay for the pizza. Not a place I recommend as quality must stop when the owners not around. None of the staff is trained but I guess that's what you get down south lack of training, paid for a medium pizza for the same price as a large and the manager asked me if I asked about the specials, I'm sorry I'm the customer not an employee it's not my job to upswell myself but when your running a 1 topping special and I order a 1 topping pizza you would think hey for the same price you could get a large.....TRAIN YOUR PEEPS if you want to be successful

Mama Mea's use to be a good place to go and get a good pizza and get good service. But all the good servers have left and the ones that have been hired don't know to check on their customers every fewminutes. The pizzas are still good although the last one I had was burnt on the bottom. No, I would not recommend Mama Meas at this time.

Cute, quiet little place across from the fort. Best burgers on 79. I'd drive the 20 miles happily for their general burger, it's that good.

Loved their wings and the service was great! It's hard to fine decent chicken wings in this area. The pizza was average though but we'd definitely have it again.

I just want to say that our group absolutely appreciates the group of employees who were working at Mama Mea's on Friday night, 04/22/22. We arrived to Dover from out of town and according to Facebook, it showed that the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. We arrived at 8:40 p.m. and verified before being seated that the restaurant actually closes at 9:00 p.m. I was a bit hesitant at first because we were so late arriving, but the young ladies at the counter told me it was up to us. We were waited on and our food arrived in a very timely manner. I got the Buffalo tossed chicken tenders and fried mushrooms. It was delicious and the chicken tenders were cooked very well...crispy/crunchy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside with just the perfect amount of Buffalo sauce. Our group decided to do something special by way of a tip after I spoke with the waitstaff supervisor. I wanted everyone working last night to know that our group 100% appreciated them and especially for taking such good care of us even after we arrived so close to closing time. After we left, we were in the truck speaking about the evening and the other people in the group spoke of how good their meals were and how pleased we all were with the ENTIRE group at Mama Mea's. Fantastic job, Mama Mea's!And, yes, we will be back for sure.

Was camping at the Land Between the Lakes and craved some pizza. Drove around for a little bit, finding many places closed, so this was the choice. All was pretty excellent.

Food was good I had a Stromboli. But they have way more than just pizza, servers are fast and friendly. It is a little oddly decorated and dark inside, floors could use a good sweeping. But decent prices and good food

The food was actually pretty good but then we couldn't eat all of our pizza and breadsticks and were on the way to the river with our boat. All we had was a cooler which a pizza box WILL NOT go in! We asked for a ziplock bag to hold our leftovers so we could put them in the cooler and we were told, after spending $50 there that they were too expensive to be giving out! We even offered to PAY for one! Nope! So the whole dining experience was ruined because of rude and unnecessary comments to customers that have ate there faithfully every time we go to the river for YEARS! Just wow!
