Malco Cordova Cinema Grill

Not sure I understand the low rating. I reviewed the most recent, going back to 2022 and with one exception, all were higher that the average. So, I'm guessing that these were all/mostly pre-renovation, when they updated to the reclining seats. Other than the prices, I can't see significant problems with this location.The pop/soda is self-serve, speeding up service, though I think the butter used to be and no longer is - would like a rerun to that. The location is in a safe area and the ambiance is comfortable. They could use more concession stand clerks, but I suppose that's a complaint we could level against most places.

Me and my family got to this one twice a week and for the most part like it but I saw tonight the sign says they will soon not be taking cash. If that is implemented we will no longer be going to malco. Not accepting United States fiat currency inside the United States is not acceptable. That's a move communist make and I can't participate in that. Hope you change your mind.

Clean and quiet. I love the fact that you can preorder tickets, go to the kiosk and go in. The concession was quick and fresh. Went to see devotion a great theater to watch from

The new renovations make it almost like a new theater. They b haven't opened the grill yet, so there is still construction going on. The candy offerings are limited but once the grill opens That won't matter much. They have the fully reclining seats. There is plenty of room to walk when you are in the fully reclined position. I will be back soon to see what it looks like after the grill opens.

Its been a while since I've visited this location. It was really packed today. Thankfully I pre purchased my ticket online so I was able tonavoid the long lines. Concession has the basics. There gourmet food and bar area is currently still in the works to open in the near future. This location did undergo prior renovations. The seats are plush and recline, which I love.

My childhood movie theatre that still goes strong. The buttered popcorn always hits, and i haven't been disappointed by any of the additions made to the grill menu. The chairs are comfortable enough to fall asleep in, motivating me to return to the theatre.

Recently saw the new Dr. Strange movie at this theater. Was initially skeptical that we had chosen a poor spot. The theater is obviously old and the lobby doesn't do much to hide that. It felt cluttered and unclean. The snack bar looked bare to the bone and not well stocked but I was surprised to find that they did have some great snack options. Traditional candy, soda, popcorn as well as nachos, hot dogs, funnel cake fries (which I didn't try) and an off brand dip n dots machine. The concessions prices were still movie theater prices ( i.e higher than anything you'd pay somewhere else) but compared to other theaters it wasn't egregious. The theater itself was actually VERY nice which I was NOT expecting after the lobby. I believe they may have remodeled because the layout of the seats didn't match what I purchased on Fandango. (I though I was buying tickets in the middle based off the online diagram, but the actual seats I bought were in the last row. Needs updated online!) Fancy reclining seats and a small theater with a small capacity which I actually find nice. We saw a big movie on the second day of its release in the afternoon and the small theater was still far from full which I didn't mind at all. No lines! Bathrooms were moderately clean. All in all I would come back. I do hope they update their seat layout online and remodel the lobby to match the nice theater.

Newly renovated! The theater and reclining chairs was very clean and brand new! The Cheetos popcorn is a must try, every movie theaters should have them!!!

My friends and I wanted to watch a movie together so we met up at this location. It was a great midpoint for us because we both lived in the Cordova and Germantown area. Pros: They play all of the new films, again it's a great location, and from what little interaction I had, the staff was nice. Cons: This is an old theatre and it's not the cleanest. I can tell because the floors were sticky and it made noise every time I moved my foot. Lastly, the seats are not comfortable at all. During my two hour long movie, no matter what position I sat, I could not get comfortable. My arm rest was broken as well. I think it's long due for a remodel. Please get recliner seats like the other Malco Theatre's in town.

Hubby and I go to the movies once or twice a month . This theater has been redone ( it was ok beforehand ) but the chairs are super comfy and I loooove the popcorn and cokes . You can't go to a movie without popcorn . Very nice people selling tickets and concession workers are top notch . Restrooms are always clean and stocked well. Oh and I need to tell you, the volume of movie is perfect. I've been to movies that were too loud . The pitch and tone here is so pleasant to hear. The new ATMOS has the best surround sound system and if you have been there , you know what I mean, if you haven't been there , GO
