Magnolia Soap and Bath - Germantown

I wish I had taken pictures, but I was so enamored I just completely forgot! This place is like a dream for your senses. It's in a great location & has easy, upfront parking. Super safe upscale shopping center with a plethora of shops to choose from. If you're visiting, you'll want to take a little of this Memphis soul soap home for sure. You're greeted at the front with the sweetest little inviting storefront. The soaps, lotions, candles, bath products galore all smell divine. The young lady working was so polite, kind & helpful. Great representation of their company. They have all kinds of deals, specials & member benefits. If you're looking for a special gift or to treat yourself, this is your spot. You won't be disappointed. They also have parties for kids & adults. So cool!

Update- I know the owner replied to say signs were posted in the store and they may be now but were not at the time I shopped. As for the second part, the person on the phone told me the lotion was unusable and to throw it away. This location is TERRIBLE! The selection is. a lot smaller than other locations and the customer service has been awful. Here is an example- I bought a whipped body butter for a friend. The day I bought the body butter was a hot day. I put the body butter in my purse and went to lunch at a restaurant in walking distance and to Trader Joe's. By the time I got back to my car the whole body butter had melted into oil! I had no idea it would do this so I called to see how to fix it. Their solution- I shouldn't have put it in my purse in the first place! The lady said "we try to warn customers." No you did not. You didn't say a word to me. Thanks for being unhelpful and not backing your product or providing any warning labels about how having it in your purse on a hot day will ruin it. Other locations in the area are much better! I will never shop at this one again.

This is a great store. The owners were in when I visited for the first time, and they were very helpful in a haring about their products and helping me select items for gifts. They also packaged them up in cute boxes. The products themselves are great as well, my favorite being the body butter in the Vanity scent.

Not very helpful to all. I have purchased from a different Magnolia. I went in looking for an item. Another customer walked in and I noticed I didn't receive the same level of customer service. I will not recommend this store.
