Madison Tobacco

I'd lost my source for my favorite pipe tobacco when the local retailer died a few years ago. When I recently learned of this shop, I stopped in and - while they didn't have this discontinued blend - they offered great advice and recommended a blend that could become my every day smoke. They were out of my preferred cigars and the clerk wasn't that knowledgeable. However one of the customers was very knowledgeable. I'll be back

This is really a little hidden treasure. It is certainly off the beaten path but I was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted someplace walkable. It also helped that an excellent pizza parlor is next door and I wanted to grab lunch. The humidor is large and pretty well organized with some very well priced cigars. They have the lowest prices I found in my short time in Memphis. I found my regular AF but they also had a really good selection of Perdomo. The lounge is pretty good sized and I was accompanied by quite a few regulars who were pretty friendly. I didn't sit there in silence or feel like an outsider. And this is from what is probably a locals dominated hideaway.The service was good and again, very hospitable. I was allowed to take my time browsing their selection without "help" until I emerged and was then asked if I wanted any help finding my favorite or suggestions.I was really impressed with this establishment. Memphis has some really fine cigar shops! And this one is close to the top of my list!

The place to get you a good cigar, the employees are not friendly by a long shot, there is always a massive cloud of cigar smoke, there is a small selection of tobacco pipes and pipe tobaccos. However, the little bit of pipe tobacco they do have tend to be the freshest pipe tobacco your going to find in Memphis, TN. Other places have larger selections of fresh tobaccos but they usually are not as fresh or they are just filled with too much of a selection of confusingly named jars of tobaccos made and flavored by other companies that they claim as there own.

I drive along ways to come to this awesome place...It's such a great place and I truly miss Allen who had it for years...His kids & workers are doing a great job of filling his shoes....5 stars to this hidden treasure
