What can be expected in Heber Spring. Southern Cooking and Fish. Overall it was okay. I had the Grilled Walley. It was okay seemed more baked and over seasoned. Still light and fluffy cooked well. Suppose to come with Wild Rice and came with Rice Pilaf. The have a Bean bar that comes with it. Beans in a crockpot with side trays of picked green tomatoes, red onions, coleslaw something else. Not sure how all that works together. Did not have the Salad Bar. My wife had Chicken Strips which were huge and with normal southern sides. Truthfully not a lot of variety in Heber Springs especially off season. They are clean, professional and try. So it is a good place considering.

YUMMY!! The catfish is delicious! We all ordered the two filets and we got fries and baked potatoes. The fish was fried perfectly and the oil was definitely light and clean. The Bean Bar is so fun!! The pickled green tomatoes are delicious, tangy and crunchy. The coleslaw adds a crunch to your dish combo and the beans are warm and comfy winter fare. The purple onions are an excellent topper for the beans. If you love hush puppies then get ready!!! Mack's are fabulous! The batter is wet and the coating is light and flavorful. Our waitress was fast, efficient and focused. Super happy with this restaurant and I'll be back!!

Easy homey place. I enjoy it when I just want to eat and relax. I have never been disappointed, surprised maybe but nothing bad. Relax and just enjoy.

Food was great. Some of the best fried fish I have eaten. Nice salad bar and bean bar goes with the meal. Excellent waitress Amy. Clean as any place you will eat at.

The best hush puppies around. That's pretty much how I rate a catfish place. Their catfish is really good and my husband loves the beans from the bean bar! Friendly staff and great food!

We stopped in for lunch and were very impressed! The food was delicious and the wait staff was great. We had steak, shrimp & fish. Everything was very tasty! Nice salad & bean bar too. If you're in Heber Springs this is a great place to eat!

The service was very good!The ambiance was typical for a Fish restaurant. The Hush Puppies were very good. Served hot and not greasy! Yum!The catfish was good also.Prices were reasonable.

We have been to this restaurant multiple times and about the only place in town. Not sure what has happened in last six months but it disappointed once again. Hush puppies were cold when arrived to table. There's one thing I can't tolerate is food being served COLD unless it's a salad. They seated us on the right side and every time we are seated in this section service is slow. I ordered the BIG BLT which by the way was not served on Texas Toast or far from BIG as advertised. It took a while for us to get our food not sure if kitchen was slow or waitress forgot to pick up. The sandwich was stone cold and sandwich had maybe three strips of bacon that had been cooked either that morning or day before and both platters of fries were cold. Unacceptable and my husband and I don't return food...we just don't return to that restaurant.
