I placed a pick up order using Uber Eats and it was ready by the time I made it to the restaurant. I would say it took about 6-10mins from the time I placed the order to pick up.I ordered a birria taco with cheese, spicy chicken taco, chicken fajita taco, steak fajita taco, elote, and horchata. Oh, and cheese dip and it came with a free salsa in the Uber with a minimum purchase price.The spicy chicken taco was my favorite and the cheese dip. The salsa and Horchata were also good, but I picked the cheese dip to eat first with the tacos. The fajita tacos were missing something, but overall I was satisfied with my options, especially with it being a to go order. They also give you green and red sauce packets to add to the tacos. I didn't try the corn or finish the birria taco since those were items for later. I'll update when those have been consumed. The location is the old snow cone place and Jimmy's Hotwings use to be in this same building. I arrived around 1130am, the inside isn't very big, but you can have a seat and enjoy lunch/dinner.This visit was much better than my very first visit when they were on Highland.

We love Maciel's in Midtown so I had to try the Bartlett location since it's so close to my work. I ordered a Cubana torta since you can't specify in the ordering process online, I added a note for the order "no jalapenos and extra mayo please." The sandwich had jalapenos on it and was pretty dry from the barely-there mayo on the sandwich, but it was otherwise delicious. I checked and my requests were on the printed ticket, but were ignored by the staff. If you've ever had these tortas before, you know they quickly turn from sandwich into a fork-eaten meal and as I was nearly finished, I had a sharp sting in my mouth during a bite and was surprised to find a piece of plastic about an inch and a half long in my mouth that had been in the sandwich. It looked like it could possibly be torn from the outside lid from a to-go container for soup. Ignoring the requests for my order, you forgive, biting down on a large shard of plastic because it was in your food, and you question going back again.

My boyfriend and I had been seeing this restaurant while passing by on Germantown Road, wanting to try it out for the longest. We saw a good review on the NextDoor app and decided to try it out as soon as possible! The atmosphere inside is really nice, with upbeat music and super attentive, friendly, welcoming workers. The employee who took our order was really nice, as well as the other workers who came around to our table several times to check up on us. The food was excellent! I ordered a torta de milanesa asada and my boyfriend ordered 4 tacos de al pastor. The meat for the tacos was flavorful, except their salsas weren't spicy, and the tortilla for the tacos estaba aguada (it was a little soft). Nonetheless, it was good. Overall, we gave the food an 8/10, and the service and ambiance a 10/10. The horchata was really yummy, better than most here in Memphis! The chips served with the salsa were also delicious (: We would definitely go back again (:

What the heck! When I found out they opened the Bartlett location, I was beyond excited since it's closer to where my parents live. Of course, I took my father here, and they did not disappoint! We were among the first few customers to walk in just a few minutes after they opened for lunch. The gentleman, I believe he is a manager, who took our order was very attentive, knowledgeable, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu since it was my father's first time trying it. The food was beyond delicious and fresh! The staff were so friendly and made sure we were satisfied throughout our stay. The place is very clean and presentable. They also offer outdoor dining. Just like their locations in Downtown and Cooper Young, I will definitely be coming back. Love Maciel's!
