Louie's Steakhouse

The restaurant is nice inside and the service was wonderful. This place is conveniently located indoor next to Harlow's casino. The food was delish. Love the crab cakes filled with crab meat and the prawn shrimp and grits. The asparagus was really good. The salmon, strawberry Hennessy and fried chicken was delish as well, per my mom and sisters.I really recommend this place.

You better be seated before 9PM....expect subpar service....attitudes abound. Food is adequate. What happened to this place? This was once a place that I would recommend. I suggest you eat at the Delta Delights restaurant where the service is excellent & the food is good.

Louie's is one of the nicer restaurants in the area, but the quality of the food is inconsistent. On my most recent visit, I ordered several appetizers (i.e. crab cakes, wonton tacos, stuffed mushrooms) in lieu of an entrée. The crab cakes were overcooked and way too salty (this happened on a previous visit also). The stuffed mushrooms were different sizes, so the smaller ones were tender and the larger ones were undercooked. The stuffing inside the mushrooms was watery and there was nothing special about it. The wonton tacos were average, which unfortunately was a win compared to the other dishes. Louie's provides complimentary bread to each table. It consists of cornbread, yummy rolls, and what appears to be blueberry scones. They are all delicious! Overall, I think Louie's is too pricey for the quality of the food. However, I'm sure I'll return due to the limited options in the area.

The food here is amazing! We started with crab cakes for our appetizer . From presentation to flavor, IT WAS THERE! For dinner I had the Cajun salmon, my husband ordered the ribeye. Both were delicious! If you like to drink, i would recommend just ordering shots... Not sure why this place only has 2 stars but my experience was very pleasant.

Service slow. Food slow. I had better food in the public school cafeteria. Bad experience.

This cozy, professional restaurant has left the best impression! The food was so on point with the flavors and presentation, I couldn't fault a single dish. - Fantastic knowledgeable service. - Reasonably priced. Worth the wait!

Service was not all that good waitress didn't come to our table hardly at all to see if we needed anything. The kitchen staff were very loud and annoying. The food was ok and ambience was good

We got there 30 min before the restaurant closed down and didn't know what to expect, but LaCheryl the receptionist who greeted us was super sweet and went above to make us feel welcomed in the space! Since the other servers were busy, she took care of us for awhile even though she didn't have to. Really appreciated her taking the energy && time. The shrimp cocktail was good. Gumbo kinda tasted like tortilla soup. I grew up in Lafayette, so I got high standards!

My wife and I just ate there. NEVER AGAIN!!! We both had Rib Eye steaks. Hers was ordered medium well, and mine medium. BOTH WERE MEDIUM WELL! No pink anywhere! Did not even come with a baked potato, which was $7 a piece! We ordered the chicken spring rolls for an appetizer. More attention was paid to presentation than taste! THE BILL WAS $162.00! Then their credit card machine didn't work, and we had to go completely across the casino to withdraw the cash to pay for this terrible experience!!!I wish I could have given less than a one star rating!

Really enjoyed my recent visit to Louie's! Food was delicious, staff was very attentive, and the room is cozy. Well worth the dining experience.
