North of the birthplace of Elvis in the small town of Baldwyn, Mississippi is Los Toros Mexican Restaurant. What's the odds of finding great Mexican food in Mississippi?? The answer: very good!The authentic motif made me feel like I was south of the border and looked like many of the restaurants I've had the opportunity to visit during my travels -- comfortable and unpretentious with mexican mariachi music running in the background. I ordered the sampler Chimichanga and Denise ordered the Shrimp Fajitas. Both were well prepared, well presented, and tasted great. The odds of any of my followers venturing to this part of the country is a long shot. You really have to have business here to be here. But for those who found their way to my review because they were looking for superb food and a relaxed atmosphere you need to venture into Los Toros!

I got the shrimp quesadilla. It came with beans and rice. As an appetizer we ordered some white queso. Everything I ate was cooked to perfection! The server was nice and the food came out quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for good Mexican food in the area.

So good and so cheap! Fajitas were $11 for mixed and $7 for lunch. The staff was nice and didn't hover. Will be back if I get the chance!

Exceptional service, don't speak perfect english but they're extremely kind and helpful. The food is always cooked perfectly, served on time, and tastes spectacular. If you love nacho chips with homemade salsa you must go here it honestly gets better every time I eat it, and it's always set at your table as soon as you get there. Not expensive, they always have music and TV playing and the atmosphere is exceptional. Highly recommended!

I go to this place to eat almost 2 times a week for lunch. The lunch menu has lots of things to choose from and is really reasonable pricing. I always get the taco salad and the servers there know my order by heart. Great food, quickly prepared, very recommended.

I was there last night after almost 10 years .Food is awful.I ordered beef fajitas not sure what kind of meat they put on this dish but isn't ranchera ,also had a bitter taste ,my son also ordered carne asada same thing..wife ordered tortilla soup this one was like you open a can of tomato sauce and serve in a bowl with cheese and tortilla chips ...

Excellent food and service! We have tried many Mexican restaurants in Tupelo and by far this is the best! We are from Arizona and are used to really good Mexican food and this is as close as we e come. Both locations are great!

Of all of the Mexican places in guntown, Saltillo, and Tupelo, this is my favorite. The food is great, you get plenty of it, and you can still smoke here if you want
