Outstanding food and the owners are so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our dinner experience at the new dine-in location and wish them all the best on their success. We'll be back!

It is a well-lit cafeteria style restaurant. They have self serve water available and the food is served in take out containers. The green salsa is excellent. The torta was very good with ample meat. The taco salad was also good, but I'm not sure I would recommend the barbacoa as it was pretty fatty. The prices are reasonable.

I have been going to Los Potros for years. I can truly say that they are the best small Gem in Columbia.I lived on the boarder of Mexico for years when I was younger. We would cross over the boarder just to get street tacos. Los Potros is by far the closest thing they have in this area.Their OG tacos are perfect with just your choice of meat, cilantro and onions, and their barbacoa is heavenly. I also have to say, I love their green salsa.Just try them out, you will really enjoy them!

I have been searching Tennessee for an authentic California burrito, as they make them back home. I finally found the place. I asked them to remove rice and beans from burrito and they were friendly and accommodating. Carne asada tasted exactly like home and burrito was good and fresh. The only thing I would change is the fries were good quality, but felt a little over seasoned for me. Overall, this is the most authentic Mexican food I've had in Tennessee. I grew up in San Diego so I wanted something that tastes like home. I was skeptical when I saw "So Cal" on the logo of the restaurant, but they delivered. I was the first customer in the restaurant and they took their time crafting the best California burrito I've ever had in this state. I enjoyed smelling the aroma of the carne asada and listening to the workers chat as they worked. Overall it is a very nice place, looks like they are doing some renovations. Do check this place out!

We've been going here for years. Old location and now the new spot. Our kids love their food which is rare for our kids to agree on the same thing. It's definitely authentic. We always get ours to go. Some favorites are their ginger carrots, beans & tacos. Kids love the quesadilla plate. It's not cheap but is reasonable. And it's not a place you go for the environment; you go for the FOOD. It's our go-to choice. We're happy to have it here in Columbia!!

Went to the new location today. Very expensive for bland Mexican food. I was charged for hot sauce without being told it would cost me $2 extra. Whatever, but shady. The food is far from being good.

Decent food, disappointing experience. While Los Potros may have just grown up and moved into a real restaurant building as opposed to a little taco stand where you had to eat outside on picnic tables, their customer service needs some maturity, as well. Just ate there for the first time since they moved. Still don't have any napkins, instead offer coarse folded bathroom paper towels. Great for drying hands, not so good for wiping hot sauce off your face. Speaking of hot sauce, they guard it very carefully and you have to go up front and wait to ask for a tiny little cup if you need more. Would be great if they could mirror what other Mexican taco joints do and have hot sauce available in a common area in bottles to use at the tables. Also, I ordered 3 big street tacos, but was only given ONE tiny little 1/8 of a lime that wasn't enough to coat a single taco. Waited in line to ask for a few more limes and was told I would have to pay for them. Seriously? The food is decent, but they've got to work on some of these other things.

I asked them if they had anything sweet. He told me a "churro". I explained that I don't like them. He asked me if I tried his. I told him I didn't. He gave me one and I took a bite just to be polite. Let me tell you, it was so good. I hardly believe this was a churro. I also ordered a soupe and an OG taco. The food was wonderful. This is my new "go to" place for Mexican and of course I will be ordering a churro as well. Thank you for their good food and awesome service.
