Los Portales

My husband and I went to Los Portales for an early dinner. First of all the restaurant was absolutely mesmerizing. I couldn't stop looking around because it was so beautiful. Second, the staff and service were very attentive and friendly. Third, the food was the bomb! The portions.......OMG the portions were huge. I had beef nachos supreme and I couldn't even eat 1/4 of mine. My husband ordered the special quesadilla grande and struggled to eat just half. Literally enough leftovers for 2 more meals! Highly recommended.

We absolutely love Mexican food, every city we go to we usually eat Mexican food. We love salsa. This salsa didn't really have a taste to it. The seafood burrito I had was amazing!! The beer was ice cold . I would have given it 5 stars but to me salsa makes the Mexican food

Great Mexican food!We came here for my sisters birthday and got everything from burritos to tacos to quesadillas. Everything was delicious and great portions. The price was good for the amount of food you received.The chips and salsa are unlimited. The salsa isn't runny like a lot of Mexican places. The atmosphere and decorations were what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. They had some fun pictures and hats too.The staff was friendly and everything was clean.They even came out and sang to my sister. They included a little surprise of whipped cream in her face at the end of the song :) Highly recommend this place for your next Mexican craving!

So I went here a while ago and I like enchiladas so I got the four different kinds right? Now enchiladas are one of those things all Mexican restaurants should know if they are on the menu. It's like my pad Thai test. Anyway, the food came, it was really good and the queso was really good but then again I'm one of those people who loves cheese. No joke. I tried a virgin drink. Oh. My. Gosh. So good. I totally recommend this Mexican restaurant

Chips are a little hard and salsa lacks spice but that's the worst of it. The margaritas are strong and taste great. The food is delicious with tender shredded chicken and savory carne asada. The tortillas and cheese dip are exactly as you'd expect which is what we were hoping for. My nine year old is super picky and loved the chicken nuggets. We come here every time we're in town and we'll definitely continue! I appreciate consistency and this place nails it!

Decent Mexican food. The enchiladas here are my favorite in the area. They have margarita specials too.

This is a breathtaking venue, I've traveled all around the world and by far this will be one of the most memorable for the decor alone. The food is just as delicious. On Sundays in this community everyone attends church and this was one of very few placesto sit down and eat. We arrived from our of town just in time to get a table. But getting out with my service dog was rough. The place was packed!!! The sad thing about the entire experience was just about half way through my meal a staff member came thru with a cart load of dirty dishes. The foul odor was quite overwhelming and destroyed the entire experience for me. I urge the staff to be mindful of this and discontinue using such a method. It would be best to bus the plates from the table and carry them to the back to prohibit offending odors. I would have given it five stars easily.

Just passing through at lunchtime and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. The service was fast and friendly and the food was very good.

After researching restaurants in the area. This one had great reviews so I decided to bring my family from out of town to check the place out. I was beyond disappointed. The service was terrible and the food was cold and thrown on the bar with no sides or toppings to go with it. Not sure if it was due to them closing at 9 or what. But we had to go to the front to ask if we could get service after waiting 20 minutes on someone to come and wait on us. It they were closing then I wish they had told us that. We got there at 8 but they didn't close until 9. I have never felt so ignored as a paying customer. Maybe this was an off night. Not sure. However if some one ask me my recommendation it would be based on my experience on my first visit. I hope that if I ever decide to try it again. Maybe the next visit will be different. Hope no one else has to experience what I experienced.

Always great service and eats! Everything on the menu is awesome and the service is 2nd to none!
