Los Comales

I have lived here a long time and have always gone to La Gudalapana as our go to Mexican place on Summer. We decided to try this place out just because. We went there around 4:30 pm so wasn't too busy. I have to say the inside was much cleaner and better looking than the outside.Service was good - waitress was attentive. Pitcher of draft for $12 - not bad. Always wanted to try lengua and they had it - have to say it was delicious! Kudos for this restaurant to pile on the onions and cilantro not to mention the amount of meat in the tacos. We will be back for sure to try other menu items.

Any Mexican place that has horchata you know I'm trying. We were quickly sat at a booth upon entering. Our server was friendly and attentive, grabbed our drink orders and came back with chips and salsa and green sauce. The chips were fresh, nice and warm. Loved the salsa, the green sauce was too spicy for me but my friend devoured it. I ordered a steak burrito with double rice and added onions inside. My friend got the quesadilla. Food came out in a timely manner. My burrito was tasty but was let down with the minimal onions they put inside when it's an ingredient I had to pay for. The horchata was delicious, hit my marks of being sweet, smooth, no chalky after taste. I could see myself coming back here. I actually want to try their cheesecake dessert.

Great tacos, quesadillas and chunky guacamole. Yeah it's divey--THIS IS SUMMER AVENUE.

I have been to the location in Mid-town and Bartlett. I enjoyed my meal in mid--town. I had three crunchy tacos on my first Bartlett visit and tacos and chicken wings on the second trip. The tacos were good, but the chicken wings were awful and full of fat and little meat. I won't order that again. The service was good and of course, the price was reasonable.

Me and my wife wanted to get some lunch The owner told the servers not to serve us because my wife had a service dog, under the ADA Not family friendly & the owner didn't want to talk to us ourselves sent waitress to argue

If you're looking for good, authentic, Mexican food you need to go here. The food is by far the best Mexican food in town (the other location is just as good). This location doesn't serve liquor, but they do serve beer. If anyone is looking for a lighter meal, the pescado tostada is amazing! And only like $5! But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu

BEST SALSA VERDE!Ok, so there's only like a handful of restaurants in town who seem able to make this amazing salsa verde de aguacate (I can't seem to get it right at home or else I'd make it all the time). So I gotta say I love this place if only for that. However, their food is normal otherwise. The tacos didn't taste very good on our visit, but it was almost closing time and the salsa was great so I'd be willing to come back earlier and see if the tacos do better then. 1-25-25, today lunch was good and the customer services but it was a little sad to see a one inch roach crawling across the floor under our table. It made my stomach turned and I lost my appetite. I can see why because the floor was dirty with food. I hope that they will take notice.

We used to go here often. The food is good, but we have had a bad experience service-wise the last few visits we have been in. We have been to other locations and had good success. Don't count Los Comales out, just try a different location.

The cashier who takes orders to go is rude and does not serve well, she should take some customer service classes.
