Los Amigos Mexican Grill

This is one of our family's favorites. Los Amigos' authentic menu boasts "simple and fresh" and prepares its items with fresh produce and quality ingredients. Although it is not "fine upscale dining", you can always count on timely attentive service and good tasting food. The atmosphere, although average is pleasant, comfortable, and is family friendly. They can accommodate large parties and have a very large dining area in the back of the house. The cultural menu options are sizable and the a la carte menu can be very convenient. Solid! I wasn't sure if this place would measure up to the Mexican food spots we have in California, but it was good. We got the fiesta grilled fajita bowl--really good. Nice cheese sauce on top w good flavor. And we tried the enchiladas that were good as well. They give you chips & salsa right away. Good salsa. Friendly servers. Dessert was pretty nice as well. The xango was the best. The churros were also good--they're stuffed with cream I think. And the sopapilla wasn't the best; it was more of cinnamon chips than anything crazy. All of them had ice cream with them and it was nice.

Loved Los Amigos eat there almost every Friday. I have never had a bad time here. Employees are so friendly. I suggest you come here.

Just ate here tonight for the second time. Service was great. The food came out really fast and was all very high quality and delicious. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant, I highly recommend you go check it out.

Hidden gem in the small town of Hamilton, Alabama. The doning area is pleasant, though nothing fancy. The walls are festively painted in orange, yellow and green with inexpensive tables and booths decently spread out. Even more important now with COVID-19 happening.Prices are more than fair and the food is very good, you could even throw pin a few extra very's in the before statement. My only complaint is that the food took a bit to get out of the kitchen. Service was good, though.I would strongly recommend a visit to this small town restaurant.

Quick friendly service very clean. The food was great has a nice bar and staff was amazing! You would never know it was here, but if you're passing through, I suggest you stop by

The seafood combo of tilapia and shrimp served with vegetables and rice was delicious and a welcome change from the local fried food scene Service and price were both very friendly

I was a little skeptical about a 5 star Mexican restaurant in Alabama but we were pleasantly surprised. It's seat yourself ( or at least was when we arrived) Restaurant is very open and brightly decorated. We received our chips and salsa quickly. Drinks and cheese dip were a little slower . I think that was because of a birthday party. Dinner though was also a bit slower (I'm writing this as we sit here .... Waiting -.5) My husband got hisFiesta Fajita then 5 min later I got my street tacos. Food was very good. Bathroom needed a bit of work (-.5) but was fairly clean. Would recommend!

What a wonderful surprise to find this great Mexican restaurant in a small north Alabama town a few minutes off I-22! Chips and salsa were very good. My husband had some salsa picosa which he really loved and asked the owner how to make it. I had the sincronizada Jalisco ( first under the quesadillas) and it was fabulous!! The different meats in it were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I've never had a dish quite like it. My husband had the California burrito with mixed meat and he said it was delicious. This is a gem for anyone that likes Mexican food. Prices are extremely reasonable and there is a wide variety to choose from. We would definitely stop here again if we are traveling that way.
