After a terrible experience at the LongHorn Steakhouse in Bartlett, we tried this one in Collierville. It was a totally different experience. The host and waitstaff were friendly. The wait times were not too long. (It was a Sunday about 11:00 a.m.) The pricing is acceptable, and the food quality is excellent. The ambiance was awesome until the "after-church" crowd started piling in and making a ton of noise. That wasn't the restaurant's fault. We will return to this one in the future but only during low-traffic times.

I like the cowboy western ambiance of this place. My service was phenomenal, attentive without being intrusive. Food was average priced. I started with chowder which had an abundance of potato & corn, not really shrimp or crab in big chunks but the flavor was there. I got a 12 oz steak, I like mine with a warm light pink center. Seasoning and grilling was done well. Side of asparagus was abundant a little over seasoned but beautifully cooked, with a nice snap but still tender. Strawberry lemonade was good too, not saccharin sweet like some places and strawberry purée is nice.I'd go again.

Went for lunch around 1:00 on a weekend. It wasn't crowded. Food was average bar food. The service was incredibly slow. We had to flag our server down for refills....for anything we needed. Burger was dry. Fries were ok. The shrimp appetizer was swimming in grease. Just a very mid experience.

This is one of my husband's favorite places to eat. We consider if kind of a fancy place and we tend to come here for dates and things. There's always a lot of food- every meal is huge- and we are always satisfied whenever we eat here. I've summarized my thoughts on different meals below. They don't have actual cherry coke but they can make their own version for you with cherry flavoring and cherries on top. The bartender is also very friendly and took the time to help me try out some new mixed drinks. The Crab and Artichoke Dip is good but I didn't feel it was very flavorful. My mom loved it. I did really like the Firecracker Chicken Wraps even though about a third of them are the wrapping. I paid an upcharge to get the Chicken and Strawberry Salad with the Raspberry dressing instead of a house salad which was fantastic. Also, huge. I took half of it home.I got the Napa Grilled Chicken for my meal which was soft, juicy, and flavorful. Hubby got the steak prime rib which definitely melted in my mouth but otherwise did nothing for me.The Coconut Chili Mahi Mahi was awesome and flaky and the rice mixture that came with was so tasty. I was delightfully surprised. The balsamic vinaigrette is not overpowering as it often is at other places. It even tasted good with the bread. Flo's Fillet medium well done is thin but packed with seasonings and flavor. The medium is thick and tender but had less seasoningsThe Chocolate Stampede was huge. I'd actually want to order it as an appetizer because it's not easy to take home but it's huge so you'll want to make sure you have room for it. The Longhorn Steak had good seasoning at first but after a few bites was just ok.Love:- Appetizer: Firecracker Chicken Wraps- Bread- Chicken: Napa Grilled (FAV)- Chicken: Parmesan-Crusted- Coconut Chili Mahi Mahi- Dressing: Balsamic Vinaigrette- Dressing: Raspberry Vinaigrette- Dressing: White Balsamic Vinaigrette- Ribs: Baby Back- Salad: Grilled Chicken and Strawberry- Salad: House- Side: Broccoli- Side: Mashed Potatoes- Side: Seasoned French Fries - Side: Steakhouse Mac and CheeseLike:- Appetizer: Spicy Chicken Bites- Drink: Lemonade: Watermelon- Sandwich: Grilled Chicken and Avocado Half- Side: Baked Potato Loaded- Side: Fire-Grilled Corn on the Cobb- Side: Fresh Steamed Asparagus- Steak: Outlaw Ribeye (medium)Ok:- Appetizer: Crab and Artichoke Dip (mom loved)- Appetizer: Wild West Shrimp- Burger: Long House- Dessert: Chocolate Stampede (Joel loved)- Side: Housemade Kettle Chips- Side: Loaded Mashed Potatoes- Side: Rice Pilaf- Soup: Shrimp and Lobster Chowder- Steak: The Longhorn

This is one of my favorite steak houses. The portion sizes here are huge. It does depend on what you get. My favorite is the Flo's Filet which is the same size as any filet. Free bread is decent. I thought I liked the loaded baked potato but it's really just ok. I do love the french fries and the mashed potatoes. There's lots of potato options, which is great. They also have other food sides for when I want to have something besides potatoes. I tried the Longhorn burger recently and I was hoping it'd be really good but it was just ok. My order: Flo's filet with sides of french fries and mashed potatoes

Been a long time since my wife and I have gone to longhorn for dinner so figured let's go. Friday night at 5:30 and got seated right away. Wry prompt wait staff and quick on drinks as well as keeping up with us. We ordered an appetizer which came out after the salads. Then about 1 min later followed up by steaks. Other than timing and all the food out at one time, the food wasn't bad. Steaks were cooked spot on but what just took it way down was the amount of salt in the mushroom app as well as the steaks tasted good except the outside was like it was raked in sea salt before and after cooking. The salt overwhelmed everything and 3 hours later my lips still feel like a mummy's. (The margarita was pretty good as well as the bread)

After waiting 45 minutes for a table, noticed that half the tables were empty when finally being seated. Floors were dirty. My filet was tough and my friend stayed her ribeye was tough and stringy. Not worth the wait and price.

This is probably our last visit to this so-so establishment with an over-staffed door and a manager who actually argues with customers... First, we went to their website to "get in line" early. When we arrived at the restaurant, the same surly, glowering, characterless young woman said, "Huh - what'chu'want?" I told her my name and she said, "Uh, huh... you #2 in line, we will call chu when you ready..."After 15 minutes of watching the door, and after seeing 3 parties seated before us, I approached the middle-aged woman who was at the podium... "Are you the Manager?" Answer: "Yeah"... Me: "I went online before arriving; when I arrived, I was told by a young woman, 'you # 2 in line"... and I've sat here and watched 3 other parties seated before me..." - and that's when "Ms. Manager" cut me off... "Well those people were waiting at the bar... the four party wanted a table..." and so on... I reminded Ms. Manager, "don't argue with a customer, especially after you just lied to him..." and she replied, "You'll be seated next"... I said, "I'll be watching and hoping..."We were seated next... our waitress was really nice (and the tip acknowledged that), but I was still put off by the young mumbler at the door and the manager who argued and makes excuses and outright lied... BTW - younger door woman eventually hid herself in a kitchen alcove that I could see and spent about 20 minutes on her cell phone!!!Question: Will you be going back?Short-answer: NO WAY!!!

Went for the last time to Longhorn in Collierville. This restaurant is seems unclean in the public areas, so the unseen areas are probably even worse. Sat at bar and it was crumby and spilled on from previous patrons. Chairs were scattered at the bar, very unorganized and unwelcoming. Wait staff sullen at best.Salad was limp and drowning in dressing. Main course was okay, would never describe as good or great. Presentation was uninspiring. Floor needs mopped, flat surfaces were dusty, dirty napkins on the floor and staff just walked by, carpets needed swept.

Service absolutely terrible. Wait staff lacking any etiquette. Went through six sets of silverware to get a clean set. Long wait for food and it was cold when brought out. And as a final blow the kids cheeseburger was brought out when we were paying our bill. The lack of awareness is just unimaginable. The wait staff reply to thank you was uh huh every time.Spend your time and money somewhere else.
