Lonestar Schooner Bar and Grill

Passing through Tupelo on a family road trip to the Coast. Stopped in here for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. Don't let the exterior and the location (in a shopping strip mall) fool you. As you walk through the front doors, you are warmly greeted and seated quickly. We stopped in on Friday night, so it was busy, but not so loud we couldn't talk at our table. The food was great and the atmosphere is awesome. The staff are fun and great to talk with. Highly recommend!

Decent place for a burger etc. for lunch or dinner. Decor is kinda cool and staff is pleasant.

Lonestar Schooner Bar and Grill is located in a shopping plaza. I met with a client for a lunch meeting at his recommendation and I have to say that this place is a fantastic choice for a meal.The service is definitely top-notch. Our server was friendly, outgoing and professional. The owner brought our food and was also great. My client went with a cheesesteak with French fries and I chose one of their burgers with onion rings. This burger was one of the better burgers that I have had in a long time and I will definitely be returning here the next time that I am in Tupelo, Mississippi. The ambiance here is definitely cool and tries to give it a rustic and rough around the edges vibe. I thought it was cool that they used a door and a glass door mounted sideways to separate the booths.This was a definite win for me and I would definitely recommend here. I give here five stars overall.

Asian Chicken Tacos are the star of the show. I'll be back for these. Light, crispy, super flavorful....Outstanding! Blackened Catfish Nachos were ok. Sounded great on the menu but not worth a return trip.

Solid little spot in a strip mall. Good atmosphere and large bar. Good beer on draft. Good American food, can't go wrong with the buffalo chicken wrap. When I'm in town I usually go here. I've been 3 or 4 times and once encountered a drunk at the bar that was a little obnoxious and disturbing the people around him. Overall a good place, no real complaints.

This place was awesome! Tupelo really doesn't have a lot of good sports bars! Taylor our waitress was incredible, she constantly check on us and made sure we always had drinks. She was fantastic! Make sure to ask for her! The Philly steak sandwich was spot on! This place has great energy! As soon as you walk in the door they are checking on you! The beer is fantastic!

Traveling through and greeted at the door with several offers of seating. Manager made fresh pot of coffee for grandmother traveling with us. Food was EXCELLENT with some things offered that are a bit different. We will be back!!

Exceptional food and super fun atmosphere! You will not be disappointed! I saw several friends from high school, so now I know this is the new hang out spot!

We were driving through, decided to stop here for lunch and SO GLAD we did! It was delicious and my kids loved it too!! Waitress was very kind also. If we're ever through the area we will be back. My husband and I both agreed the best food we had on our 12 hour drive!

The food,service and atmosphere was great. We will be visiting again. We tried the Philly nachos which were very good. Looking forward to our next meal there
