Lasagna - very good
Downtown mural
a sign for lillo's restaurant
the front of the restaurant
Lillo's has a "salad lady" who's purpose os to make this perfection. The house dressing is divine!
Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, seriously, it would take 3 people to eat this creamy deliciousness!!

Lillo's pizza was a childhood favorite of mine. I moved away from Leland years ago but was back in town for Christmas on Deer Creek and met some friends at Lillo's for dinner. Of course, I ordered a Pepperoni pizza. It was more delicious than I remember!! Yum!!!

A college friend from Leland brought me to Lillo's in the early 1960's and every time I visit the Delta, I try to stop in again. On a recent trip to nearby Greenwood, we visited Lillo's and it still has all the character and charm of a small town Southern Italian family restaurant that I remember from 50 years ago.My go to dish was Lasagna and it was just as good as I remember from the 1960's. The sauce is light and sweet and is wonderful mopped up with the toasted garlic bread. If you are full of expectations of a fancy Italian place, you will probably be disappointed. Service was great despite obvious shortages of help which is a common problem everywhere right now. TV's now line the walls and football was the entertainment for the evening. Apparently live music was the entertainment of yesteryear as a mural in downtown Leland attests.

Lillo's pizza is amazing! The ambiance of this family owned and operated restaurant is so nice. Some nights they have awesome live music too!

The Lilo family lives and breaths Leland. Bringing a great Italian menu to the surrounding area. Been a staple since I was born. Connie and family do everything you could ever want for a full service experience. Make sure to get a salad with Lilo's dressing.

If you ask the waiter if the beer is a regular domestic you should be charged for a regular domestic and not a premium domestic. Cost me 6 extra bucks when I directly asked the waiter and brought it up to the cranky owner at the register when I checked out and still had to pay extra. Since when is a regular light beer a premium? The owner is very money hungry because they aren't doing as well as they used to because of strong competition popping up around Leland. The grumpy owner treats you like a complete outcast if you're not a regular.

A great family establishment. People that give it bad reviews just don't get it. It's all good!

Burnt lasagna. Wilted, brown salad. One meatball. Think Sysco food but worse. Ticket was north of 100 for 3 people. Not worth it.

I love trying old school restaurants that have been around for years. There are some real gems down in The Delta but this isn't one of them.Nothing I saw ordered off their menu was anything but cheap Sisco crap, nothing was made in house clearly. The "famous" salad dressing was just vinegar and oil poured over brown floppy lettuce that had been fresh sometime in the Carter administration. I ordered something they called Rigatoni Parmesan which was quoted as "like baked Ziti". How they arrived at that I can't imagine. It was a dozen or so overcooked rigatoni noodles laid out on a plate with a couple slices of mozzarella laid on it, microwaved, with luke warm watery tasteless marinara sauce poured over it. Chef Boyardee would be considered fine dining compared to this meal. And it wasn't cheap either, four of us ate (no booze, no dessert) and our bill was well north of $100.And then to top it off, the men's room was what I think would best be described as The Black Hole of Calcutta. I'm guessing it hadn't been cleaned in decades. The spider webs and dead bugs clinging to the vent were like something out of a horror movie. Black mold in the corners, a pee ring around the toilet so dark you couldn't see the color of the linoleum through it, the list goes on. I used to be a truck driver and have seen some filthy bathrooms, this one rivaled most of those. And if the bathroom was that disgusting what's the kitchen like?

We absolutely loved our experience at Lillo's. The servers were amazing, and helpful. The history of the restaurant was pretty cool. Home made Italian food in the heart of the delta!! A true good food find!!
