So good owned by the same people who own The Brass Lantern. The food well if you've ever been to Shaffers its like that but better. The ambiance real 1900s adda all over the walls cool place to eat.

Friendly staff and that's where it ends my wife said the catfish was good the Mac n cheese n fried okra not so goodI had the brisket rice bowl brisket very little and what they gave was mostly fat the rice was not cookedAgain friendly staff terrible food

Don't waste your time... we are new to the area, and I had such high hopes for this place. It seems cool, and I was hoping it would be a gem. I ordered the burnt end plate with mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese. I received eight chunks of meat, not at all burnt ends. It's just some brisket that they chunked up. Their sauce is overly sweet, the portion was small. My mashed potatoes and gravy didn't come with gravy, the mashed potatoes are from a mix. The macaroni and cheese is the typical, tasteless, southern style, that I'm sure is not homemade. I am disappointed and won't be back. I will say that the drive-through service was quick, and the girl was very sweet and polite.

First time visiting as the place looked like it had potential. I've been to other local BBQ (Ricks/Shaffers). Regrettably, food quality was so so, sides were stale, portions relatively small, and it was oddly expensive. Ordered the brisket and two sides. Mexican cornbread was hard as a rock too. Disappointed and wanted it to be so much more.

Legends Express has some pros and cons.The pros: the food is decent, and there's a drive-thru. The dine-in seating is small, but nice for couples.The cons: the plates and options are a little pricey. They also stay decently busy so the drive-thru might have a long line.It's a nice option for an easy meal to grab for the family through the drive-thru.

Legends Express is a great restaurant in the small town of Lawrenceburg. The food is loaded with flavor, and it's nice to support another locally owned restaurant. I ordered the brisket nachos (the brisket is a little too fatty for me) and it has a nice flavor combination! Everything tasted fresh and balanced. I ordered my toddler a chicken quesadilla and it seemed to be of good quality as well. Definitely a great choice of food if you're in Lawrence County.

Our first time here today and the food was absolutely amazing. We both ordered the Catfish meal, and it was so yummy. I got Cole slaw Mexican Cornbread and fried Okra, it was delicious and fried perfectly. Hubby got the same except he got fries and coleslaw. He very rarely eats the whole meal and he ate every bite but 2 or 3 of the Cole slaw. He kept saying this is really good. Teresa the cashier was so accommodating and very friendly and out going. Had a smile on her face almost continuously. The manager was very polite and even came to our table to say hello. I decided I couldn't stand not seeing what the fruit tea and the peach lemonade were all about. I asked if I could try a little of the two drinks and was told sure. Oh man I told my hubby I was in trouble after I tried the fruit iced tea, then said he was in trouble when I tried the lemonade and peaches. Well even though I was full I had to order the largest drink. Enter Teresa saying I told you they were good. Now if you want to really be happy, or blown away, I can remember exactly what she said. She told me to do half and half. I was like an Earl Palmer. I don't drink soda and so when I find a place that has a drink I love, it means I will be dipping into the cash fund to enjoy said drink I find. So bottom line is this, if you want a lot of food and it to be very delicious and an iced tea and or a great lemon aide, you have got to try Legends Express on Military in Lawrenceburg. Great food, 2 great drinks and the employees are very friendly. Which in turn means this will be my go to place to eat at a lot.

i went here yesterday and the service was complete and utter garbage and they treated me n my friends like garbage. everyone up in there are nasty people and act like they don't wanna be there. food wasn't even good enough for us to be treated like that. would not recommend this place to my worst enemy if your going to be completely honest. -10/10

Food was not fresh at all. It tasted greasy and it was under a heat lamp. The kids working there were disrespectful punks that don't care about the customer. I definitely won't be back.
