Vearnell Ellis was my salesmen is was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent service. I appreciate how he treated me I purchased a cash car that wasn't but $2500 and he still treated me like I was spending $25,000. He arranged to have the car cleaned & gassed up for me . Landers Ford - Service Center has been extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I drive a lot of Ford vehicles and when I need service this is the closest dealership. Seeing as how it's nice and new'ish and in Collierville... my expectations were high but to be honest you can barely even get an oil change at this place. My vehicles have been held hostage here more times than I care to admit because you drop them off for service and days later you haven't gotten them back. The oil changes aren't that bad but their "Quick Lane" is not quick. Expect several hours for just an oil change.

Was looking to purchase a new Ford F150 in 2017 and saw a newspaper ad for some vehicles they furnished for the FedEx St. Jude Golf tournament with a specific percentage off MSRP. Upon my first visit, my wife and I told the salesman we'd wait at the vehicle while he retrieved the key. After waiting in the 95+ degree hot sun on the burning asphalt for over 15 minutes we decided to head to the front office to see why he hadn't returned only to find him shooting the breeze with the General Manager and another guy. Needless to say we left and returned another day thinking we'd get a better experience. A few days later we talked with another salesperson who informed us that the percentage mentioned in the ad was not the real discount being offered so they told us what the price of what they were willing to sell it for and left telling the salesman we'd be back in 2 days (a Friday) with our vehicle to consider for trade in. Friday, the salesman called stating the vehicle we were interested in was already sold but he might could find a better deal on a different one. Actually, my son called the dealership to uncover that exact vehicle was still on the lot available for sale. Needless I went elsewhere to buy my 2017 F150 Lariat!!!Unless you enjoy being jerked around...STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS POSSIBLE!!! I won't even take my truck there for an oil change based on the way they treat/deceive people. And from the other Yelp reviews I've seen lately, others seem to agree too.

Here is the email I sent to the service director concerning our family's recent encounter with the service department this past Monday. I must let you know that I am thoroughly disappointed in Landers. My husband brought my truck to get an oil change in the morning and everything went fine. He went back with his truck at 1620 to get an oil change in his truck and was turned away saying that you all only took vehicles up until 1630. The website says you all close at 1800. If we were to go by way of the website, he still have 1hour 40mins. If we went by you non-posted standards of taking the last check in at 1630, he still had 10mins. Now what is so appalling is the way the situation was handled. You could say that I am only hearing one side of the story. In fact I was actually on the phone when he came in and I heard the conversation and the guy at the desk saying that he already had 5 cars. From a business standpoint, it would make sense to keep a tech or 2 a few mins after 1800 to take care of the customers for oil changes who have chosen to patronage your location, especially if they are there by the posted and non-posted standards established by your facility. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement.Furthermore, the fact that your location turned away an active service member is also disheartening to say the least. Yes, he was there with his Navy Chief ball cap on. I am not inclined to rate your location as completely satisfied.

This dealership has some problems delivering service. I attempted to have 3 separate items looked at on two occasions and both times they just didn't do anything with my vehicle. And they didn't call to let me know they would miss the promised pick-up time. The service writers never returned my voicemails within the same business day, and they couldn't explain why nothing got done to my vehicle. I try to avoid superlatives like "best" and "worst" but these guys are REALLY BAD.

Service department keeps unnecessary calls and when we contact them back. They say they haven't contacted us. Everything was going good but now im seeing them change. Didnt take long me and my husband took my car for an oil change. They just let my car sit for 10 minutes before they said it was completed of services. And they laughed as we lift out as if it was a joke. 5 star went to 1 because of how I felt we were treated

Very disappointed!We have used Landers Ford Quick Service for years. Recently, the quality of service has declined. On our last visit in September for an oil change we requested that the rear passenger tire be patched due to a slow leak. We were told that the tire could not be patched and needed to be replaced. Given that they did not have the correct tire stocked they said one would be ordered and we would hear in a few days. WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. When we called- the tire had never been ordered. We ended up having the tire replaced at another service center.On our visit yesterday, we waited for several hours for a 10,000 mile oil change and service. The car was in service for less than 20 minutes once it was pulled in. THE OIL CAP WAS LEFT OFF AND OIL SPRAYED ALL OVER THE ENGINE and the tires were not rotated, per the 10,000 service. And due to a staff luncheon, no one was available to answer questions about the service.

The service department has been hit or miss as to whether you will have a decent experience or a leave irritated. They can start the improvements by actually having someone ANSWER the phone in that department. If you need to call and speak with someone, you can FORGET it. Apparently they have a serious aversion to the telephone in there. Dont even seem to like returning calls after multiple messages. Sales team is good and finance department is top notch. Service department doesn't follow suit with the rest of the business in my experience.

After spending thousands of dollars on our car purchase, they told us we would receive our first oil change for free. After dropping it off and having the work done, they say you have to have "Ford points ". Never did the dealer mention this, all that was said " your first oil change is on us" then sent us on our way. An app was never mentioned until checkout. So beware when the salesperson says something is on them... just go to another business and not the dealership. Not that we mind paying for services, we just expected what we were told. Lesson learned from this costumer.
