Lance's Pizza & Subs Dover

I was pleasantly surprised when my husband pulled into the parking lot of Lance's Pizza and Subs. Dover doesn't have many choices in restaurants, and we were taking a day trip on the bike. Lance's was perfect!My husband had a delicious chef salad. It was large and full of very fresh veggies, with meats, and boiled egg, just as hubby likes. Then we shared a small pizza with sausage and mushrooms. I assumed it would be more of an individual size because it was only around $7.50, but it was 8 slices! We only ate half of it, but it was delicious.There was a family at a table near us packing up their leftovers to take home, and I offered them our untouched half. They had a lot of mouths to feed, and there's not a lot of extra room on a motorcycle to carry a pizza box. So if you find yourself traveling through Dover, TN and want a very, very reasonably priced meal, Lance's is a great choice!

Our Experience Last Night was great. My wife Ordered Small Veggie Pizza and it could have actually fed us both but I ordered the Italian toasted Sub. Both were much better than we have had in the area for Years. My Wife mentioned how Clean the windows were and we started looking around. The floors were extremely clean and it was 7:30 pm. You could tell there was a lot of work in keeping the place clean. As soon as someone left the tables an Employee came by with Disinfect Clothand cleaned up. Most Restaurants in this area just do not think this is important. For Great Food, Cleanness and Great Service. Go to Lance's.

This 'Italian sub' came tightly sealed in foil and it was HOT ! Never saw an Italian sub like that before. It was in a bag so I didn't know. It all turned into a gooey mass. New one on me -- hot Italian sub... Obviously, these folks at Lance's have never had a REAL Italian sub made in Chicago or New York by real Italians ! The foot-long mass of goo I ended up with was bizarre.

After moving to the area 6 months ago, Lance's has quickly become one of our go to, favorite places. Pizza is great and the price is even better (especially if you're getting it carry out). Even better than the pizza though, the cheesy bread. We've started just adding pepperoni to it. Always have great service which makes the whole experience that much better. We were so surprised to find a pizza place this good in a small town.

Always great pizza and subs. I am not a salad person so can't say much on that. Orders are always ready on time and staff is friendly.

Greasy pizza with burnt cheese and skimpy toppings. Salads were mediocre and not very fresh. It gets business but I'm always wondering why lol. Never again for me. Frozen would be better yuck

Pizza was good however, employees don't wash hands after handling toppings etc. No soap in bathroom. Employees are obviously not washing hands

Had a great experience at Lance's. We were headed to the lake for the weekend and decided to grab a pizza on the way. My husband called in our order and the girl working was so nice. Picked our order up and when we got to the lake it was still warm. Food looked and tasted so good. Better than the large pizza chains in my opinion. We will come back again.

Have eaten pizza here several times and it's always been very good! Place your order at the counter & self-service tea & soft drinks.

We order atleast twice a month, the kids working there are always having fun and are a joy to talk to, it's refreshing to see a bunch of teenagers and young adults all get along and enjoy working somewhere. They are super polite over the phone as well and always make our pizza fresh for our delayed pick up time.Absolutely the best pizza sauce in town (and that's saying something since we have three pizza places in this small town. They know how to top a pizza and give you your moneys worth too! The dining room has always been super clean and the floors aren't sticky like other places
