Lakeshore Inn Restaurant

We eat there a lot. Sunday has a plate lunch with meat veggies and desert. Atmosphere is good. They are pet friendly on the deck.

Wanted to try a new place and thought it would be nice to sit by the water. That was the only enjoyable part! The server kept saying that she would check with the kitchen to see what the hold up was. We were waiting over an hour for our food. When we finally received our dinner, I was completely disgusted. The potato was lukewarm warm and the Cajun gulf shrimp that I ordered was not even that! I received some small frozen shrimp that had no seasoning and looked like they went to captain D's to get it. I did not eat my meal! My husband's fries were cold and his medium rare steak The salad bar is fresh and has wide variety of options. was well done. I spoke to the manager who said that all the cooks were new and they have had some really big parties. I told her we were there an hour and a half and when we got there, only 6 people were in the facility. Other people were complaining that arrived after us. I will Never go back to this place. If I could rate it zero stars I would!

Old and outdated. Food is not that great but fair price. Location is nice and nice view of the water. It can use a remodel, new menu and a new cook

The waiter didn't seem to be thrilled to be at work or to even serve us, the food was hot and fresh. We had to have them rewipe the table down and a new set of silverware due to the one set had food on it still. I loved the fried pickles I also ordered the Alfredo with shrimp. The shrimp was fresh, if I had not ordered the shrimp with the cajan seasoning the Alfredo would of been bland, the sauce if home made was bland, hardly any flavor to it. My company ordered the fried catfish. The catfish was hot and fresh but the french fries were cold. It's more a bar then a restaurant. For being in the mild of no where it's good not a I'll be coming back some time good. Just good if I'm out here kayaking and need to eat good.

Very disappointing.. view was wonderful and staff was friendly. My food however, was cold. We were there for breakfast. I order the breakfast special (eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast). When my plate came I only had the eggs and hashbrowns. The waitress brought my bacon and told me the toast was on my friends plate‍ yes, like get it off her plate... Such a lovely place, I hope they can get the kitchen in order or hire some better cooks

The only thing this place has going for it is the location on the water. The service is horrible, atmosphere is dingy and unappealing. Food is mediocre at best. I would never visit this place again, mainly due to the people they have employed. Rude and repulsive.

I was in the area for an annual family reunion and this location was recommended for lodging. The lodge was in a good setting that, except for the intoxicated persons yelling outside the lodge rooms, was peaceful.The condition of the assigned room was not pleasant, some of the staff were obviously untrained on customer service and did not think highly of the establishment.The room was not clean in that the carpet was not well vacuumed with even a discarded, bloody diabetic blood test strip remaining on the floor. The door security latch was broken off and inoperable. The mattress cover was plastic rather than fabric, leaving one to sweat if positions were not changed frequently. Two of the four lamps required for adequate lighting were unplugged and one of the power receptacles was defective with no power. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the combination shampoo/conditioner packs located in the water drinking cups were of low quality. There was an ice bucket but the ice machine had apparently been long before removed from the breezeway that ran between the lodge rooms. And, the the staff was asked about locating the ice machine, the two individuals at the front desk broke into laughter with one recovering sufficiently to say they had a staff ice machine and would give me some.I haven't any idea regarding the quality of food and service within the restaurant; however, there is a large dining area and the patrons park blocking access to the lodge rooms. I was asked by several individuals at the reunion gathering if I would stay at the Lakeshore Lodge again and I had no hesitation with responding in the negative.

Terrible service. The waitress was extremely rude! I was there with a large group of friends. The waitress didn't I'd me nor a 28 year old female but tried to ID my 40 year old wife. When we questioned her logic she told us to leave.

Loved the Sunday Buffett, great value. The Atmosphere is Beautiful. Great view of the Lake, really enjoyed it
