La Fondita Express

La Fondita Express is a food truck that is permanently parked on Nolensville Pike. This is a picnic table outside if you eat there, otherwise you can take it to go. Their menu consists of tacos, burritos, mulitas (more on that later), quesadillas, sopes and plates with rice and beans and either carne asada or pollo asado. Here's what we ordered: -Mulitas ($6/plate of 3): Somewhere in between a quesadilla and a taco these are two small flour tortillas that have been fried and filled with your choice of meat, melted cheese, lettuce and sauce. We got two orders of the carne asada which was amazing. Surprisingly I'd never tried this dish (I thought California had it all but I guess not!) but now I am officially hooked. -Tacos ($1.25/each): We got el pastor (my favorite) which was flavorful and the right amount of spice and barbacoa which was a bit on the flavorless side. Both tacos were served on corn tortillas with finely chopped cilantro and onion.All dishes are served with pickled carrots and peppers and radishes. You can ask for salsa and they have a green and a red. The green is pretty spicy but the red is a bit more mild. To drink I got a horchata which was super yummy (their version tastes like a milkshake which is sweet and creamy!) I will be back now that I have discovered this place as the service is quick, the food is good, the price is right and it is a hidden gem.

Lord almighty!!! Just take all of my money. I love this taco truck, I just cant explain how delicious their tacos are. Plus they are never stingy with the salsa verde!! And I always have the most genuine interactions with the employees. Dont forget to bring your cash. They do NOT take card.

This place is a hidden treasure of many taco trucks/stands that are in the neighborhood! I have been going to a different place nearby and decided I won't be going back due to lack of service and correctness of orders. The man running the truck is nice, friendly, quick, and attentive. Salsa is spicy and they include all kinds of veggies and peppers on the side ! There's a tip jar at the window I suggest you use it to show your appreciation :)

One of the very best taco trucks on Nolensville road. Their carnitas are especially good. Put the green sauce on them.

It's one of the best Taquería in Nashville that I know of I really like it. The food here is authentic and their horchata is the best.

Had 3 tacos. The al pastor was good. Chicken, very bland. Carne asada, better. But there are better taco trucks on Nolensville Pike.
