If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Dickson this is the only place you will find it! It's actually in a Mexican market but the food is the main attraction in this little blink and you'll miss it place! There are plenty of bigger and more popular Mexican restaurants in Dickson in fact one of them is right next door but if it REAL Mexican cooking you're craving none of them are even in the same league as La Azteca. Their Tacos are an absolute must and rheir Guacamole is fantastic! If you ask about Mexican in Dickson people will probably direct you to one of the others but I'm giving you an insider tip........La Azteca,you'll thank me for it!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE authentic Mexican food. Tacos are my favorite... I recommend trying all of them but the fish and shrimp are my favorites. The quesadillas are very good and their Mulitas are fantastic - kind of like a grilled cheese but better. Their green crema sauce is super yummy. Great chips and decent salsa. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I have been there before it's good but sometimes stuff is gone bad. Once I bought something and it was gone bad when we got home! So ya

If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! The absolute best Tacos I've ever had in my life! Great little store for authentic Mexican cuisine!

I think I'm giving this four stars for two reasons: a) it's in Dickson, TN - an area where amazingly scrumptious, authentic and real Mexican food, not to mention the stiff competition within that, are nonexistent; and b) considering it is stacked up straight against the ubiquitous Americanized Mexican restaurant (which is good in its own right - if you're craving that) .... therefore, this place has got to be really good! :-). I am not going to say how I rate this place compared to the literal myriad of amazing, more varied, authentic, real Mexican places dotting the Southern California landscape..... just that, I am VERY glad this restaurant is here. :-). I am in this area more often than what the bigger cities eastward have to offer, so this little joint here has become my staple "go to". :-) The people are very warm & friendly. I've grown a little bit addicted now to their creamy avocado-ish salsa (not their salsa verde but their even paler kind) - it's as if it's their trademark, or a standout for them. ;)Wish they had a more extensive menu, though, and a salsa bar!

Great place to get real street tacos in an area not known for Mexican food. Eat em there or get a bagful to go.

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. If you know the area, you know about Mazatlan. Better than Mazatlan. This restaurant is also very affordable. It only serves a small variety of food because it is a taqueria. This is always a little market upfront. Best Mexican restaurant in Dickson for sure.

This little local place was a wonderful find. Food and service were excellent! Hubby had Enchiladas Verdi and I had chicken enchiladas with queso sauce. The salsa was too spicy for my allergy so our greeter went back and made extra mild salsa just for me! That spoke volumes!! We were guests at a local hotel and were directed to take Gum Branch Rd. DON'T DO IT!!!! Very dangerous and treacherous road. Curves and drop offs not marked. Late at night could be a killer.

Great food! La Azteca has the best tacos in Dickson. The staff is so friendly, and they make you feel at home. This has definitely become my go-to restaurant for Mexican food. They also have a great variety of Hispanic groceries, some of which you cannot find elsewhere in Dickson. Definitely five stars!
