Our experience at Kyuramen was great. Went here with a group of 4 and we all agreed it was one of our new favorite spots in Memphis. We were a bit skeptical because their marketing is really good. We have all had an experience where things are designed to look good online, but aren't good in person. Well this isn't that. The marketing shows the honeycomb looking booths for seating, which before we went, I thought were just for show. After eating there, I can say this is an intentional design choice. While you are sitting anywhere in the restaurant, you don't see other tables out on the floor of the restaurant. It has a more private, intimate feel with your group. I could see how that would be a turn off for some, but we really enjoyed it. The ambience here really stood out to me.On to the service. This restaurant uses a call button system. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for service. I wish more restaurants would have a notification system. High marks for service here. The food we had was really good too. I was the only person that didn't get a drink from Tbaar. I did try the lemonade my SO ordered and it was quite delicious. Our ramen hit all the notes a ramen should. Good broth. Meat was tender. Noodles cooked right. Just plain good ramen. The only weak part of the meal was the matcha pudding that came with the combo, but I only got that out of curiosity. I'm not the biggest fan of matcha, but I do like trying different things. It was overall a good meal. Easy recommend

Kyuramen x TBarr, the newest cozy ramen spot in Memphis, did not disappoint on my recent visit. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by their warm welcome and chic Japanese decor, which was both inviting and aesthetically pleasing.I was seated within two minutes in the unique honeycomb seating area with my friend. The waitress explained the ordering process clearly. When we were ready to order, we simply pressed the call button on the wall for service.I ordered the combination meal, which included Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen, a Steamed Pork Bao Bun, Matcha Bean Pudding, and Thai Tea. The ramen itself was outstanding. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the addition of corn and eggs provided an extra layer of flavor. The matcha bean pudding was interesting; I didn't like it at all. It tasted exactly like matcha powder, and I was thrown off by the texture. However, I did enjoy the Thai Tea, though next time I plan to try the brown sugar boba tea.If you're looking for a place that pairs authentic Japanese cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere, Kyuramen x TBarr is worth a visit.

Vibes were sooo cute! Love the space and the booths. They were so intimate. The food was pretty good. The goyza had good flavor and the sauce was sweet and tangy. My mom and i got one veggie ramen and one pork broth. They were both a little salty but otherwise good. The reason i gave one star lower was the staff. So everyone is very friendly and to order you press a button which is nice. However when i asked the waiter certain things about the menu his response was always "i dont know" so i would prepare to not be able to ask questions about the menu and ingredients.

Our little one loves this place that we went for lunch last Sunday while we were out. We were seated right away in one of the privacy booths to the left. Our server (I forgot her name) was very attentive. She brought our waters right away and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. This time I ordered the Tonkatsu white garlic with extra noodles, since I share with my son. I can taste the difference from the mega I usually order. Like I mentioned the last time, the broth is very flavorful and the chashu always perfectly melts in your mouth. Both our server and the person who first seated us checked in on us during our dining. And as always the lemonade is Amazing!

First visit (10/26/24)and won't be my last. I love the honey comb seating arrangements upstairs and the private booths downstairs. There is also a bar downstairs that you can sit at and order. My friend and I were seated in a honey comb booth today, be careful on those stairs! They do not accept reservations, when you walk in you sign in at the kiosk located at the front desk and wait for your name to be called. The place can get very busy, so I advise going early. We ordered quite a bit today! Appetizers: Deep Fried Gyoza Dumplings 10/10Salt & Pepper Crispy Corn 3/10 ( not my favorite)Purple Sweet Potato Fries 10/10 dipping sauce was really good alsoPopcorn Chicken 5/10 ( I dont like chicken thighs, but good flavor )Meals:Vegetable Miso Ramen (friend said it was very flavorful, except the tofu. She said it was flavorless and did not pick up the flavor of the broth.)COMBINATION A.-Meal for One (10/10 overall) comes with:Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu RamenMatcha Pudding with Red Bean (Dessert- cute, but I would not order the combo again) I did not pick up a taste that I can describe unfortunately. Steamed Pork Bao Bun (MY FAVORITE) Great flavor and cooked perfectly! Drinks: Both order Passion Fruit Tea with Mango Jelly (or popping cant remember) 10/10 I would return just for the Boa Bun and another tea. You can also just order from TBar without dining in. As a first visit I ordered the combo to get a taste/feel of the food. I doubt you can switch out items, which is why I would not order the combo again. I would pick Katsuobushi Pork Ramen next visit and a different dessert. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our meal. OH! You have a call button to order and get a servers attention (that was pretty cool)

The honeycomb seating design was a standout feature of our experience! Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the staff was incredibly responsive--attending to us right after we pressed the call button. We particularly enjoyed the coconut smoothie and passionfruit tea; they were delightful! To top it all off, the owner personally introduced himself and checked in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. A truly wonderful dining experience!

So, I want to give some public service announcements for everyone that will save you some time before you decide to come here.1. Majority pork menu - there are some items that are available but only two of the ramen bowls are not pork based. In fact, most of the menu in general are pork based and anything you can get substituted won't be as flavorful.2. Wait Time is Horrible - although they have the kiosk for you to sign up for so that you can go do things while you wait, it is roughly over an hour wait time during the weekends. Other than that, the place is really nice. I love the decor. It makes me want to take a trip to Japan and get the real authentic experience. With the fact that I try to stay away from pork, I had a chance to try the following items:1. Pop corn chicken - 8/10 it was tender but heavily seasoned. If you are watching your salt intake, this may not be for you... at least not on its own.2. Classic Omelet - 7/10 it was pretty good, but there wasn't much chicken in the chicken fried rice that it was over. I had the curry as my sauce which was very creamy and savory.3. Chicken bao bun - 1/10 the bao was pretty good but the chicken in it was very bland and lacked flavor. The mayo had to really fight to try to save that sandwich lol.4. Chicken ramen - 5/10 it was pretty good but it seemed a little on the bland side. Now plot twist is that I added the popcorn chicken to it ( shredding it with my fingers lol) and letting it marinate in the bowl for a bit. Once it was all said and done, the flavor was spot on from the popcorn chicken and it saved my ramen lol. so 9/10 with the popcorn chicken.

Stopped in for a ramen bowl today and was seated in one of the honeycomb spaces upstairs, which is super cute and you can look down on nearly the whole Resturant. Don't let the portion sizing fool you, I was absolutely stuffed on 1 bowl of ramen! Pork broth was so silky in texture and had a great depth of flavour that tasted like it's been simmering for days to get that nice smooth complexity. Tempura shrimp was a little greasy so not my fav but the pork was so soft you could cut it with a chopstick, it just melted. The table has condiments in lil boxes, all of them were really good and went through different spice levels. Next time I go it'll just be for tea and dessert so I can savour & enjoy.

I've been to other Kyuramen in other states, several times. But I love the quality and friendliness of this one in particular. The owner gave me the best experience. Definitely worth the try! Everyone is so helpful and great! The place is clean and tidy. The food is amazing! Even great for the next day, not to mention great portion! For sure coming back :)

I ordered the Curry Ramen and it was a 10/10. We had several people check on us and ensure we were happy during our visit. I don't know her name but we had a waiter that tried a little too hard to make us feel... comfortable I should say. She kept referring to me and my cousin as girl and tried to add some slang with it. It just made us feel a little uneasy but that didn't take away from my amazing ramen. There was some confusion as we entered. We added ourselves to the wait menu but when others came in they told them they didn't have to add themselves to it and they can be seated immediately. Therefore, the staff wasn't on the same page when it came to this. The ambiance is cozy, Japanese. I love the privacy I got with my family as we ate. It was sooo beautiful and welcoming inside.
