Kublai Khan

My husband just got his haircut and my son was hungry. Kublai was just around the corner so we tried it for the first time. When we arrived we were seated right away. Our server came by shortly after and we let her know we were first timers. She explained the process, took our drink and appetizer orders, and brought us our bowls. As we go to the counter the options they have were a lot. My son just wanted chicken, I got shrimp and beef and my husband got shrimp, beef and pork. The next section was the veggies which they had a lot to choose from too. Then you have your seasoning and sauce area. Once you get to the end counter you place your bowl and sauce cups on a tray and let them know what kind of noodles you want. When we got to the line it wasn't too busy, but the line started to build as there were some who kept going back and forth with their bowls and sauce cups mixing everything they want. Maybe giving everyone a tray from the beginning might help a bit to prevent all the back and forth and people getting all mixed up. When we returned to our table our drinks and apps were there. I ordered the soft shell crab and to my surprise it was really good. The batter a little different from what I'm used to, but still good and the crab juicy. Our bowls came and they were amazing. Although I wish I had put a little more sauce the pad Thai noodles were cooked perfect. Overall a great place for lunch, service was great and the food was delish.

If you want some really good fresh crawfish sushi rolls, the best ever hands down. Love these always made fresh to order overflowing with Crawfish!Also, had friend rice it was so delicious! Kudos to the bartender drinks 12 out of 10 that's how good they were. I give four stars cause it's definitely time for an upgrade in the lobby area. Our server was pleasant and attentive .It's a must try the offer so much, however the sushi and fried rice are my favorites

Service was great. Fresh ingredients but it seems the silver bowls you get to pick your toppings have gotten smaller. Price went up and smaller bowls make you say humph. They did manage to overcook pretty much all of my protein. My kids did enjoy watching the fish in the fish tank.

I love the food at Kublai Khan. A lot of times the restaurant is a little dirty, the bar area usually needs cleaning, and the hostess/to go staff is typically not very friendly, but the food is great and table servers are generally friendly.

Raw food and vegetables are all over the counter & floor at the Mongolian bar! Absolutely gross and unsanitary.

I went back to back after trying the first time.. those udon noodles fills me up just right.. plus they have a nice selection of food to choose from..highly recommend!!

Excellent Food and Service. Employees very honest and trustworthy. I accidentally left my debit card there after paying for my food. I called them the next day and it was there. I Love this Place.

Kubla Kahn 5/18/2024We will never eat here again !!! After waiting over an hour to be seated.Had a party of 12+ a baby that did not need a seat only to be seated at a table for 10. Manager argued with to say that there were 12 place sitting instead of coming to the table to see and resolve the issue.The staff members confirmed exactly what I said about their mistake but management was too proud to admit it. He refused to combine a small table to seat us saying that we told him a party of 12 but we had 13, again the baby did not need a seat. He was too worried about getting more customers in and not letting my party use the extra small table, (2 chairs) to fix their mistake. Even if we did count the baby as a 13th person they still seated us in a 10 party table...???!! They tried to squeeze the extra chairs in the already small space instead of pushing a small table to our party so we could have the room to eat.After he refused to combine a small table to accommodate us, he ended up losing the business of 12 paying customers because we didn't stay to eat there. We carried our business elsewhere with a manager like that this will keep happening. Part 25/18/2024We will never eat here again !!! It was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was clean, the lighting was low and calming. The hostess was very cheerful when she greeted us. Our server was very patient and helpful. He made sure that my experience was memorable. I asked him about a few dishe and he suggested the spicy shrimp sushi. After finally, deciding what I wanted to eat, I went with the bowl. OMG!!! I got the spicy shrimp sushi and and nice selection of meats, veggies, spicy and sauces. Let's not forget the egg! I would recommend this restaurant to others I know. The professionalism of the staff was amazing. I'll be back!!!

Food is great Service is great Ambiance is good Wish the bowls they provided to make you dish were bigger. I always want more veggies then what will fit. Also, other similar restaurants allow for multiple trips and this only lets you have one but you can take any leftovers with you.
