This is a long standing hamburger joint. I have been coming her off and on since 1965. Opps told my age lol. The burgers are good and so are the fries and it is definitely a blast from the past.

It's our last old fashioned sandwich shop. The food is amazing. I don't know what I would do if they closed down. Their food is so much better than fast food. Our last piece of Sikeston's food history

Came in for lunch. Ordered 4 drinks, 3 burgers and a grilled cheese. All had sides. Fries are crinkle cut, jalapeño poppers are stuffed with American cheese. $40 later. No frill burgers. No lettuce, tomato. Only pickles on the side. Burgers are maybe 4oz before cooked. Reviews said 27 different sandwiches???? Three single diners came in after us. Two eat ins and a take out. We ordered before them, yet all were served before our lunch came out. Clearly they take care of the locals first. I get it, but hard to watch, when you're waiting with kids. Waitress was having personal issues with her son and partner, and we got to witness it. Another local, walked in, grabbed a soda and bag of food behind the bar and walked out. Odd!Don't go off the beaten path for this local joint.

We came here on a recommendation from a friend. I had never heard of it before. When you walk in it's like stepping back in time a good 30 years. Kirby's looks like an old school diner. The staff, two young girls that really didn't fit the vibe, were somewhat unfriendly. One of them came to the table and asked what we'd have. My wife said, "this is our first time here." She then said oh okay. Well we have burgers, hotdogs and the Kirby burger which is a double. They did have coke and Pepsi products, so that was cool! Our food came out really quickly! The onion rings were over done and hard to eat. But the Kirby burger was really good! It tasted like a burger you'd get at the fair. The price was pretty close to the fair also. All in all, the food was really good but I don't know when I'll be back again. I just wasn't wowed by anything here.

I had the Kirbyburger and it was very tasty. I saw a video on YouTube for the place so decided to try it and really recommend the place. Good prices and great food.

I showcase locally owned food establishments on Facebook (Harold Davis), and Kirby's is the Godfather of burgers for the simple fact is has lasted well over 100 years. Great place.

Best Burger in the state! Love the food, service and going in for lunch! If I could I would eat there everyday. Burger's are made like my Grandma & Mama make them. It's the closest thing to taking a trip home when I can't leave town.

My family stopped here on the way to Tennessee, seemed like it would be cheap and a fun place to eat. We were very wrong. The wait staff was rude and messed up our order multiple times. We went without drinks for 3/4 of our visit and 3 of our burgers didn't even have a burger patty. The burgers we did receive were burnt and tasted terrible. We understand they were busy but it was unacceptable.
