Kent's Catfish

Food was fresh! Loved that we can get a dinner plate and not forced to do a buffet! Service as far a prompt food service was good! Initial contact was a bit slow! She also was apparently not having a good day! Was not friendly at all! I always ask how my servers day is, no response and acted like I was speaking a foreign language! Clean space, bathroom was out of towels snd toilet paper! Awkward!!!!!!

What a treasure! We were travelling through from WI and my husband desperately wanted catfish. Google found Kent's for us and we are so glad it did. It is definitely a locals place made clear by the warmCamaraderie between the staff and customers. Everyone was happy to see each other.The catfish was fabulous along with the collard greens, sweet potatoe and okra. But the show stopper for me was the hush puppies! I swear try as I might I have never found one that came close to my childhood memories until Kent's. They are perfect! Slightly sweet with a soft flavourful inside and a delightful perfectly thin crispy outside! I wish I would have bought a bag of them!Thanks Kent and staff you made our stay here a memorable one!

Good food, good service. We will be back to enjoy the catfish. The desserts are great too.

Always have had great fish from there. Clean and simply put great catfish. Can't go wrong.

I recommend Kent's Restaurant very highly based on quality of fried catfish, employees/service, and cleanliness of the this restaurant. I am hoping to return to Kent's very soon.

Horrible take out service. Was told order would be ready in 30 minutes after placed opened. Set waiting on order for 45 more minutes while numerous other people pulled in and got their food in no time. How does that happen? Can't give zero stars!

Got to try this as a buffet! During Covid bringing out plates! Had Catfish of course and was great with some of the tastiest potato salad and all home made! Would suggest and go again!
