We thought we might have been out of luck when we decided to go to dinner last minute in Oxford on move in weekend. We were pleasantly surprised when we called Kabuki and they said they could accommodate our group for the time we wanted. We arrived and were seated immediately for our reservation. A waiter came right to the table with menus and took drink orders. And then came back with the drinks and took our meal orders. Everyone ordered hibachi - either Chicken, steak, scallops ot shrimp - and some opted for rice while others opted for noodles. The chef came out in short order to cook for us. The chef was friendly and performed well. The "show" was fun and a good for conversation between the older and younger parts of our crew. The food was so very yummy. I would absolutely recomend Kabuki for their friendly staff, delicious food and fun atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem - especially for groups!!!

Such a great place to dine if you have a big group and want this specific type of food. This restaurant has been a staple in the community since my college days, but have made some changes. I was glad to come back and eat here while being home my favorite thing is seeing the pictures of the diners when you first enter in it was like seeing a blast from the past, the services great and our chef who made our hibachi was funny and entertaining he engaged just really well. Overall, my shrimp and scallops were undercooked and my vegetables were overcooked and I don't think that he had enough vegetables for each of our group so I don't feel like I had enough Vegetables with my meal compared to others on all I would definitely still come back here and recommend others to do so as well.

We ordered $100 worth of food on DoorDash from Kabuki. Two of our sushi rolls were wrong. One of them was supposed to be the volcano roll (as stated on DoorDash). We received a "volcano salad" (as stated on the Kabuki receipt). Not sure how that got lost in translation? The volcano salad was straight mush and absolutely repulsive.

We went to dinner tonight at Kabuki which we have all tried in the past. We ordered chicken fried rice and what was served to us what uncooked chicken that didn't even look like it touched the grill. When we told the waiter that it wasn't cooked and we weren't going to eat it the manager came up to us and told us that it was cooked in baking powder and corn starch so that's why it looked like that?? We have had Kabuki chicken before and it has never looked like that. Not sure if the cooks were being lazy but will not be returning.
