JZ Fish & Wings

This restaraunt blatantly lied about the type of fish they are selling as Catfish, because it is actually Sway! Please do not buy the so called Catfish from this place, because it is NOT catfish. If you are a catfish lover you will know it when you taste it. My husband stopped by after work and bought two of the so called catfish plates, and when I tasted it, I new automatically that it was not catfish. I called the restaurant to complain and the person I spoke with told me that it was Sway. Really??? Why would you do that? Because you're in a black neighborhood? I am appalled that you would play us like that!!! Never again!

So this place has a huge menu. There is fried food,, fried rice and steamed seafood. We ordered 3 fried combos werereally pleased. These are HUGE portions for the price. Like we couldve probably fed the whole family off one.. The fish, chicken and shrimp were very well seasoned and crisp. The service was prompt and friendly.

I do not have a picture because the whole wings and fries were so good I pressed yelp to take a picture and ate all my food without a picture. Believe me the whole wings are amazing with honey gold sauce. Now,one flaw is, they don't know how to flip the wings in sauce. It's like they just pour a little on and it's over. Then someone was coughing in the kitchen. And their pineapple drink actually looks like a bottle of urine water. Their sodas had something all over them like spilled from something else.

I was never a fan of seafood but since my first time eating from here I haven't stopped! My food is always fresh and hot and the food is seasoned extremely well, like spot on! This the best seafood spot in Memphis!!

this place sucks & so overpriced for what they give . they didnt have enough sauce or wtf ? because what for what i paid this is ridiculous. The wings had no flavor nor there was any crisp to it .ohh & the fries were so saggy & unseasoned. Honestly if i would've checked before leaving i would've never gave them my money. i do not recommend at all !! you can literally make better wings at home
