Chicken tenders are good. We had already torn them and gave some to the baby so this was not the full serving.
Food
The huge Iron Man statue at the front of Jupiter Comics
The party room that you can rent out.
Great times with family!
Comic books and POP figures.
First time here.
The front of the store.
I asked that they take the wings out a bit early and not overcook them. They were perfect!
Hot dog hot dog hot diggety dog!
They changed to a different dough that I like much better. I think it's still frozen, but I did like it.
Pepperoni mushroom. It was good but I wasn't impressed with it by any means.
Cheese fries!

This place is awesome! Actually I'm not too into comics, but they have their place in the world I suppose. We came here on a Friday night for something to do. The mini golf course was very family friendly. Free for the 3 year old and only $12 for the wife and I. I'm pretty sure it was 18 holes and it was just really nice. You pay for golf at the comic book counter. I liked that they had some cheap comics for small children on a shelf down low where little kids can pick one. There are a few arcade games. Not much for the toddler ages though. There's a movie theatre room for about 15 people that you can rent for $15 an hour I think they said. Bring your own dvds and video games. There's private areas for events and there's a patio outside for those nice days at the park. I believe I saw on Facebook where they plan on growing a corn maze, but looks like they never planted it. There is no beer, but they told me they are working on that and plan to have some soon. It is also worth mentioning that there is no cell service at all in the building and no WiFi either. I forgot to try my phone outside. You'll have to leave the Internet at home. We had heard the pizza was really good but my wife and I both were underwhelmed. It was good for what it was, and it was actually better than what you would expect from a place like this, but it was not great pizza. Chicken tenders were homemade and the milkshake was great. I plan on trying the philly next. All in all, I like this place and welcome it to Fayette County.Update: after writing my initial review, I decided to take the family a second time, on a Saturday night. We very much enjoyed ourselves and the people were friendly. We had dogs and phillys. Again, better than average food and better than you would expect for an entertainment type family place, but not a restaurant I would go just to eat at. I really like the place overall though.

I LOVE this place. I'm not a big fan of comics, but my best friend is obsessed with the comic books and how big of a selection there is. They also have a cafe, arcade, and mini-golf course. The cafe has such delicious food, the arcade is SO much fun, and even though I haven't tried the mini-golf course, it looks beautiful & I'll have to give it a try some time.

I visited Jupiter Comics for the first time today and found the store clean and well organized. this store specializes in comic books with a couple tables of collectables and figurines. If you are into POP collectables they have plenty to choose from. In addition to the various items they sell, they have a small cafe and a party room that they rent out for birthday parties. Jupiter has people that dress up in super hero costumes for birthday parties, they furnish goodie bags and offer food from the cafe. Just don't forget to bring the cake. party prices are reasonable and less headache than hosting a party at home. The selection at this store is not huge but that is to be expected from a store only open three months. Plus if you asked they could probably order thing for you. I strongly believe in supporting local stores like these, they give people with common interests a place to gather together.

The staff here is awesome! It was my first time here, they all seemed eager to help me find what I was looking for. If your looking for the newer comics they've got em. And if they don't have it they seem more than happy to order what your looking for. They have a snack bar in the back and movies playing. Making this place the place to come buy a comic and just chill, for a min. or two. It's a must stop place if you haven't heard of it!

I used to love comic books. I still have all my comic books from the 80s and 90s, when I was a bright eyed bushy tailed young teenager. I stopped collecting them in the late 90s, when I had college to deal with, plus I just didn't have the money or the time to read them. My favorite comic book series was Stray Bullets, but I gave up on it when David Lapham stopped publishing it to take other comic book jobs because he needed to feed his family.I'm now a late 30s GenXer with husband, kid, house, dogs, etc. I hear great things about this new comic book store in town, and my interest in comic books heightens after I bought a bunch of electronic comics via The Humble Bundle. I'm really liking this Harry Dresden comic book, especially since I lost interest in the books -maybe I'll just read the comic books instead! I'm fairly jazzed up at this point and I have the cash these days to buy just about any comic book I want.I arrive at the store and nobody greets me, but no big deal, right? I see kids in the back playing Magic, people behind the counter selling food, and people standing around talking about comic books. I look around at the new comic books section and I'm getting excited because holy moly, is Astro City really being published still? LOOK, Stray Bullets has a new issue out!!!!!!!! But why is the Stray Bullets comic at #4 in the series? O_oI ask the person running the shop what's up with Stray Bullets these days. He didn't know specifically, and told me that a lot of comic books are rebooting themselves. Stray Bullets rebooting? Really? Well, he doesn't know for sure that Stray Bullets is rebooting, and then immediately gets distracted by someone who hands him some DVDs. I would have liked to talk with the salesperson some more, but he gets totally engrossed, bragging to some other people about how he bought a $200 collection of comic books from someone who came in, and in the collection was the first run of the X-men series from the 1960s.After looking at some more comics, the salesperson is still talking to these other dudes about random stuff. I am sadly disappointed because I sincerely wanted to be hand sold. I just need some help - I haven't bought comic books in awhile! - but help was not coming. I left without buying anything, a bit melancholy that I could not even find, let alone buy the Harry Dresden comic book.On a side note/rant, people keep talking about "buying local" in Memphis to "break the chain", but it seems like every time I try to buy local, I am hugely disappointed. At least with a chain, I always know what I'm getting. If I buy from Amazon, I always get really good customer service. But these chains are the evil empire, dontcha know?Sigh.

This is a really great comic shop.Other than the occasional part time cashier swearing up a storm, the main two who started this operation run a really great program.Fair prices and friendly conversation, oh and you can even grab a bite to eat at their cafe style set up in the shop.Kids parties and game room parties are available too but I haven't been there for those myself but it is still classic fun like I remember having when I was a child.

I must have caught them on a bad day . The teenagers working the counter were okay . Not overly nice nor rude . Just average . The kitchen was dirty . The grill was dirty and there were paper plates and towels on the floor . The restroom garbage can was overflowing onto the floor and they were out of toilet paper . The food was average . I watched them throw the hamburger patty on the grill and season it with Mrs Dashes . I've read many reviews that are better , so maybe it was an off day , but I won't be back .
