Great place to pick up essential spices, fresh bread and pastries, pastas, and locally roasted coffee. The owner is extremely nice and very helpful. I will start getting my coffee here on a regular basis. And yes, the cherry turnover was delicious!

Stopped in today to get some "fresh bread" like the sign says on Germantown Pkwy. Soooo glad I did. The sourdough I bought it awesome. They had a great selection of different breads and bake goods. Also- jams, jellies, unique & hard to fine spices, local coffee & honey. Just a great store to have around. To top it off? The 2 gentlemen working couldnt have been nicer. Super friendly and knew their business. This will be added to my regular shopping list. As a special they are also making king cakes for Mardi Gras!!

I have been coming to this little shop since the first few weeks it was open and I have always found something interesting on every visit. John Moberly seems to be one of those owners who takes an active role in his business. He has always been happy to advise on any questions concerning the spices, breads, coffees and other items he sells (he was a professional chef for years). He has a big personality and will remember you as his customer too. Hand mixed spices and unusual items such as pink Himalayan, citron and black sea salts, saffron, vanilla beans, among others. Fresh baked bread, cookies, and an impressive assortment of local goods made by your fellow Memphians. In fact, John may be the best aggregator of locally made foodstuffs that we have in this city. (Think Nikki's Hot Ass Chips. Beverly's Smoked Chicken Salad. Tiny Toms, J Brooks, Black Crow and ReVerb coffees, and many more). John, the self described "damn Yankee", knows a thing or two about hospitality and is always ready to tell you about the next unusual bread coming out of the ovens or encourage you to try a local product with a sampling. Gluten free stuff, interesting pastas, and even some local art for sale. Memphis needs the diversity offered by these type businesses with their commitment to variety, quality, and local sourcing. Go by and see John and his crew today. You're sure to discover something good that's made in Memphis!

John and staff are great guys. The breads are top notch, the baked goods are deliciously different and...the spices rock. To top it off, local roasted coffees, local honey, local jams and gluten free yummies. A little jewel hidden amongst the traffic of the parkway.
