Joe's Wines & Liquor

I was impressed with their comprehensive selection of nonalcoholic beers. Many of the brands are sold as single cans, thereby allowing customers to select a nice sampling of various flavors. The employees here were helpful, efficient, and pleasant. If I lived nearer to this neighborhood, Joe's would be my go-to liquor store.

Best liquor store in Memphis--small store but always has an excellent selection, especially craft beers, local and otherwise that are a little harder to find (Spicy Pickle Monster ftw). Staff are always friendly, plus a good selection of local snacks (hello, Las Delicias chips). And that sign, c'mon--it's literally a local landmark.

Good location and solid choices.If your in the area you will surely find what your looking for there!

Nice selection but the staff couldn't have been more rude. They didnt have what I was looking for and had zero desire to even talk to me about it. I know post COVID it is hard to find good staff, but it is going to hurt your business in the long run. Sorry!

Joe's liquor store in Memphis is a nice liquor store to go to they have a very large section of wine and spritzers and Chris helped us. He's a nice employee. So whenever you in town in Memphis, stop by and see Chris Detal , take care of you. He's a good guy.

The selection and service is some of the best one can ask for. I normally grab my local beers here when back home in Memphis but unfortunately, that may have to change. For the 3rd straight time, I've ended up with damaged cans hidden by the hard plastic can carriers. I wouldn't be disappointed about it if I didn't live over 550 mi away. Hopefully, they'll get better at not putting out damaged products.

Excellent craft beer selection, and the whiskey selection is solid, offering the classics along with some variety and good store picks.

A great find for us. After traveling and wanting to get some genuine Memphis BBQ, we thought it would be good to get some local beer to go with it. The store is attractively laid out and with a tremendous selection. I went to the back to look for local beers and the staff was very helpful in walking through the various breweries and their recommendations. It was surprising (and a little sad) that the beer run ended up being the best part of the meal. If back in Memphis, this is the first place I would go for my liquor needs.

Cool place, gotta love iconic Sputnik twirling out front! Great selection of wines and had Buffalo Trace which has been hard to find lately. If you need liquor and it's close. Go here.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to actually write a review about Joe's! We literally lived down the street from Joe's for about 15 years. During the pandemic they were able to pivot very easily. Curbside became my friend and my waistline shows it. We have been members of the wine club for about 7 years and enjoy the selections. We have never had a month in which we were disappointed or felt slighted, which was a real concern for me prior to joining. I mean who wants to be stuck with wines you don't like? The staff is very knowledgeable and it's clear that they want to be there. You can literally go in with a dinner/meal suggestion and they will pair a great wine. They give great advice and you come off looking like the most phenomenal hostess!
