Jobos always has tasty food and cocktails and a great vibe! It's a must for any visit to Tupelo

I was in Tupelo looking for something different and I came across Jobos. I didn't realize it was a hotel restaurant at first but what the heck, I'll give it a try. Located inside of Hotel Tupelo. You enter the restaurant through the hotel and it's a beautiful boutique hotel, very cool! As I approached the restaurant I asked the young lady working what would she recommend but she had only been working there a few days. As I scanned the menu I spotted The Jobos Butter Burger made with a Short Rib Grind, Benton's Bacon, Herb Butter, pickles with a side of Parmesan Fries. I love a good burger.While I waited on my food I took some pics and every employee I encountered was pleasant. I got back and assembled my burger and it was Delicious!!!! Juicy!! The most Flavor Filled Burger I've had in some time. Every Burger from now on needs to be made with a Short Rib Grind. The fries were good, I've had better. I wish that they were Truffle Parmesan Fries but I would eat them again. Well done Jobos!

Amber was our waitress and she was super nice and helpful. We arrived an be before the kitchen closes so we quickly decided what we wanted. I ordered the wings, they were a bit salty but still good, and a side of fries. The fries were delicious and came out piping hot. I had a skinny margarita to drink, which was good.The place is super small but very cute. It was a Monday night, so it was filled with a few business ppl. I have been before but mainly on the weekends, so different group. I totally recommend!!

All the servers were chatting with each other and it wasn't busy. I tried to ask for recommendations but the server seemed unfamiliar with the menu. The food was good but pork was a little fatty. Could have been heavier on the coleslaw. Was a nice presentation for a sandwich.

Great downtown place on Main Street. Very inviting atmosphere with a great view of the area. We were visiting friends and went for dinner. We started with the volcano nachos and Malibu eggs, both were delicious. For our dinner we had ginger scallion noodles and the shrimp basket. Both items were excellent, only negative was the portion size of the shrimp basket for the price. Our service was great, the waitress kept our drinks full and was always checking to see if we needed anything.

Phenomenal!Nothing to complain about or even try to improve. Atmosphere was very comfortable and interesting. Staff was helpful and personable. And food was DELICIOUS

Jobos in Tupelo was amazing! The restaurant's industrial decor and soft lighting created a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Chas was a knowledgeable server, and the tomato salad with slaw, micro-greens, pork belly, and peas was a delicious choice. I am not a fan of black eyed peas...who even eats those? Well they served it and it worked in this salad so I ate it and enjoyed them. The blackened shrimp was the perfect add-on. Of course I had to start with my typical Old Fashioned. It seems to be a good starting point for evaluation. It was made with Bulleit, and I appreciated them asking if I had another preference. I liked the shape of the glass... easy to pick up and hold. And there was a good portion in there for em. Nice ice cube - actually a cube and not a sphere. And the slice of orange zest was perfect. I did miss my muddled cherries, but it was very good overall.I started with the Soup and Grilled Cheese. The star of the dish was definitely the soup. A "ginger chicken" soup had a very deep complex flavor. Very "heart" chicken flavor, and the ginger / pepper seasoning was perfect. The sandwich was "panini style". I was not expecting that. It was very good though, and a perfect pair for the Soup. .the only change I would make would be a deeper bowl to retain the temperature... uncooked off kinda quick, and I like my soup hot...I finished with their fundido con chorizo.... Or Choriqueso where I come from. Very nice queso with a nice helping of chorizo on top. It was served in a "cast iron mini-skillet, which kept it very nice and toasty warm. The chips were awesome! Thin enough to not overwhelm the dip, but strong enough to be the perfect spoon! And a shout out to Amber and Kim who made the entire experience wonderful. Two fabulous ladies full of southern hospitality who helped guide me through the menu and pick the perfect items.

I had very high expectations for this place going in given both the ambience and somewhat sophisticated menu for the area. I went for brunch and got the guac and salsa as an appetizer. I was not impressed. The guac was extremely thin and didn't have much flavor. For the main entree I ordered the Banh mi and it was incredible. All the flavors worked well together and it was both crispy and soft. Because of the sandwhich I am going to try this place again, but for dinner! I would recommend it as a third choice lunch spot in Tupelo!

Excellent appetizer and tapas restaurant. Menu is Southern with a fresh twist. Fresh fish was salmon, grilled. I had the blackened shrimp over ramen noodles and dashi broth- broth was really salty and noodles tasted like top ramen instead of homemade. Server was great, she was really knowledgeable about menu and specials. Great ambiance.
