Jimbos Brickhouse Barbeque

I have been here a handful of times now and this BBQ is damn good. It's as good as any within 100 miles at least. Ribs are stellar!I've had the pulled pork, bbq bologna, sausage on the sausage cheese plate, and the baby back ribs. I've had a bunch of the sides and they aren't as good as the proteins, they will do. It's in an old office of a concrete plant, I think. It's kinda slapped together haphazardly, like a good bbq place should be. I do believe I have never seen a one story building with four levels, but tada!!It's got a real smoker with real wood burning inside it. It's this that makes the meats so damn tasty. I didn't see any automation, rotisserie smokers, cook and holds, none of it. They do however have a ventless fryer back in the kitchen. Not something you see that often and this one is old school, 2020 model, LOL. The small basket it has means they cannot cook that much at once, so I've always gotten fresh fried anything. That's uncommon in the bbq world. Each time we come it seems there is about six-eight months between the next visit. Originally I believe it was because one of my daughters had "beef" with one of the little servers. She waited on us a couple of times and E. swore that she was going to mess with our food. LOL. I am pretty sure that never happened. My last few visits have just been great. It's worth the drive here as nothing in north MS competes with this establishments BBQ. Tell them that Adam sent you! Absolutely amazing smoked and succulent meat! Sides are amazing. Prices are great! And the staff is amazingly friendly. Great spot to dine in or carryout! If you haven't had bbq here then you haven't had the best tasting bbq in Mississippi!

A great little spot. It reminds me a lot of Coleman's in Hernando back in the early 2000's. It's easy to get a quick, fairly priced meal here. The food is always great! The servers are nice and attentive. They also have cakes and pies available.

Great hidden gem! Smoked meats are on point and the service is phenomenal. Great people! Fun atmosphere. They have live music sometimes and karaoke weekly. There is inside and outside seating with an outdoor bar as well. 10/10 recommend.

Great little spot south of Memphis. The pulled pork sandwiches were great and the potato salad was some of the best I've ever had. The brisket was flavorful and the service was great. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

What a pleasant surprise! Our security technician recommended Jimbo's for some of the best BBQ in the area. I decided to give them a try. Let me say - he was right!! There was plenty of parking out front and outdoor seating options. The staff at the counter was super friendly. I decided to try their pulled pork sandwich and grabbed a banana pudding cake. Oh my goodness! The sandwich was massive and the BBQ was excellent! The banana pudding cake was simply outstanding and full of flavor. I enjoyed the meal so much that I returned a couple of days later to try the brisket since they were sold out the day I visited. It was soooo good! The texture and flavor were both perfect!! One thing that I appreciated about this restaurant is that you can literally be in and out with piping hot food. I absolutely love that. I am so happy that we have this gem near us. I highly recommend!!

I have not been lately but was very good bbq when we went excellent cat fish on Friday if they still have it!

Had been a while since I had been to Jimbos. I remember it being great. Slaw and beans were excellent, Queen wasn't what I remembered. Left feeling a little disappointed.

The best BBQ I've ever had with amazing service and pricing. The vibe was unique which we truly loved.

The entire staff was friendly and service was just as amazing as the food. This is now my favorite barbeque restaurant.
