Jim Saucier Memorial Park

Jim Saucier Memorial Park is a wonderful small park located by the Southaven, Mississippi town hall. It surrounds a small lake and was a great place to walk around and unwind after a very long day.In addition to the city hall, it is also next to the library and police department. We as a community need parks to gather in and come together as a community. While I was at this park, I noticed a photographing a young girl as her proud family stood nearby beaming. She held balloons, so they were commemorating a significant moment in her life and wanted to memorialize it with a professionally done photo shoot and chose this park as the setting. I enjoyed my time at this small but wonderful park. If you find yourself in the area, I definitely recommend that you check it out.

(Forgotten post from August) This is a small but beautiful little park located in the West End of Southaven in between the library and Southaven police station.... I walked this circle about 12 times before the ducks or geese decided to take over.It's very peaceful and quiet. However, you may encounter a small crowd based on the time of day.

Nice local park for a quick walk or to sit and have lunch. They have little activity sections around the pond. A family was taking their Christmas pictures there because of the beautiful background.

This is a cute park in Southaven for taking pictures. There is a small waterfall that flows into a shallow lake with a bridge going across it. The only places I have been to are the front areas, but I believe it extends and has a path you can walk around. I know there's a gazebo nearby but other than that I haven't really been too far here.
