Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

We love some good BBQ and while we aren't in Memphis often not do we stray from Mission BBQ often, Jim N Nicks is always a win. The cheddar biscuits are life. We love the fresh hot biscuits and the honey butter. We ordered the brisket sandwich (moist) as well as the pulled pork nachos and an extra cheddar jalapeno sausage for $3 extra. The sausage link is worth every penny. It was cheesy and spicy and cooked perfectly. The nachos were filled to the brim with chips and had a great chips to topping ratio. It even came with extra queso! We are the nachos and took the sandwich and sausage home where it reheated great. I am going to have to eat here more often because it is really good and not overly priced. Our whole meal was $26. The server was busy, but on top of it and friendly. We weren't in a rush so we had no problem waiting for her to take orders in between getting a to go box and waters. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms, not so much. Overall, we will come back if in the area!

I go to Jim & Nicks in Birmingham. Was here in Memphis Jim & Nicks. What a great disappointment. Order the catfish I got two catfish nuggets you'd get a McDonalds. For $14! The manager can over I ask him if that looked like a $14 catfish plate. He said nope sure doesn't kind of spars. I'm like ok you want to do something about it. He replayed nope but you can order something else on the menu. Just blows my mind at poor restaurateurs that run a good business down.

Baby back ribs were delicious... nice glaze, meaty.Potato salad was great....Addicted to their rolls

Jim 'N Nicks catered our wedding nearly 10 years ago, and has always been a favorite of ours. We've noticed that some locations have gone downhill and converted their service style, but we were delighted that this location still functions like the OG ones! Full table service, complementary cheddar biscuits hot from the oven with honey butter. We had a phenomenal experience. I love their pulled chicken and brisket options, and their sides like Mac n cheese. The peach sweet tea is also amazing. I love when you eat a meal out and actually feel good about the money you spent on it LOL - and this was a meal that did not feel like a regretful use of our hard-earned dollars. So delicious, kind service, great quality.

Memphis is known for their BBQ so was told this is a good place to go for good bbq and southern side. The atmosphere and decor was lovely clean and family friendly, was seated right away the hostess was very polite service was great, food was ribs were tender and meaty, peas was made like I would have done, coleslaw was good delivered fast but hot The Food was very good. I highly recommend

Yum food still good second time around catfish plate came with two sides trying this time trying the Jim and Nick greens trying the Jim Nick corner on the cob and I do believe there biscuit is not a biscuit is actually I think it's a corn muffin. It might be a cheese muffin a cheese muffin the barbecue sandwich plate that comes with the catfish as well. And I like to have such flavor in the french fries flavor for french fries for you or for your little one and I totally forgot about the banana pudding y'all but yeah banana pudding

Good good. I placed them about eight on my barbecue list of the barbecue stops in Memphis. Service was good just a regular restaurant atmosphere was all right nice size portions.

Very good lean brisket, meaty baby back ribs and cheese briskets that were just as good as cornbread with the meats, bbq corn on the cob was a new item for me, likes the juicy Smokey sauce on the corn, summer peach drink made with gentle Jack, went down easy, dangerously easy, did takeout 2 days in a row, fast service, restaurant was big and rustic in design, looked like a fun place but I had my pup in my hotel room to return to, she liked the brisket too, lean. Sorry no pics was eating

I had no idea Memphis was the place for foodies. We chose Jim n nicks for lunch with the family and all I can say is ... HOLY BISCUITS! Their cheddar bread was a great starter. I couldn't stop eating it with the honey butter. So good! I'll def miss it The brisket was the perfect balance of fat and meat. The chicken was ok. I had collard greens and corn and I had the smallest baby corn lol but that was ok. My kids thought the fries were too salty but they still ate it. Overall, I'll def come back for the briskets and cheddar bread! The service was great. Wish I could've gotten his name. He was very friendly!

The food arrived still warm and it was neat and SEALED which every restaurant should do.The spare ribs were mouth watering ,delicious, finger licking good and smelled extremely good. This was some old fashion cooking,the potato salad was so flavorful and it had little bites of bell pepper and other flavors...just good. I had the collard green which was yummy. The cornbread muffins were small,light,moist and had a little sprinkle of cheese ..very enjoyable meal. They provided condiments, silverware, napkins. This was a very positive experience and worth the price. I really appreciate the dedication and good work this restaurant provided,love their motto.."We give you our best"' and I believe them and I deserve their best and Thank you all for your best.
