I think we've discovered a real gem in Sikeston, Missouri. Just passing thru town, my wife and I tried Jeremiah's for a Thursday evening dinner. We throughly enjoyed it. The place has sort of a speakeasy persona from the outside, with the interior boasting a premium bar area and a well appointed dining room with a grand piano. The ambiance is of a decidedly upscale, yet warmly casual, elegance. The menu features steaks, salads and appetizers, along with a focused array of seafood and Italian favorites. We enjoyed an old fashioned and a quality bourbon from the bar, followed by manicotti for my wife and an excellent Toto Mare for me. Both were warmly zesty in the best tradition. Entrees we're generously portioned and well presented. Accompanying side salads were also very good. Prices were moderate. We didn't have room for desserts, but the chocolate lava cake and cheese cake sounded great. We're pleased to recommend Jeremiah's and will return when next in the area.

I will say I used to come here often but the food has changed. It's kind of bland now. The service is great though.

Really great spot for a steak dinner on a business trip. I enjoyed the angus strip steak with the baked potato & side salad. The bar is large but the tableclothed fine dining areas were more inviting to me.My steak was prepared exactly to my liking (Med-Rare) on their charcoal grill in the kitchen.Great food! I enjoyed a wonderful Cabernet by "Justin."

I've dined here twice when in town on business. The first experience included some really poor service, so bad that we almost didn't give them a second chance. I'm glad we did because the restaurant was firing on all cylinders on my second visit.I don't remember everything I had on the first visit but I do remember the difficulty I had getting a reasonable drink. The waitress apparently didn't know there's such a thing as a single-malt scotch. After the second time she returned to the bar to look for any of the common top-shelf single-malts, she gave up and handed me a glass full of ice cubes and Dewars. Not exactly what I was after given the names I asked about: Glenfiddich, McCallan, Laphroaig, etc. On the upside, the frog legs hit the spot! Second time around, I had the fillet mignon and a McCallan. Everything was smooth, service was attentive but not overbearing and it really felt like dining-out used to feel before Covid. My McCallan was a generous pour! The salad - I asked if they made their bleu cheese dressing in-house and the answer was no. I asked the waitress if it was chunky and she said she would take care of me. What she brought out was a salad that was sprinkled with bleu cheese crumbles with the dressing on the side. I used very little of the liquid stuff and really enjoyed having a fresh salad with crumbled bleu cheese. The steak - Also a good-sized portion. I went with the fillet mignon and it showed up bacon-wrapped and gorgeous. The temperature was a little off as I ordered med-rare and it was a little over. That said, great piece of meat! Beautiful grill flavor, big, beefy taste and seasoned perfectly. An all-around great steak! There was a potato on the side that I tried as well and found perfectly serviceable. I would most certainly return!

By far, the worst food we have ever had! The chicken was dryer than cardboard! Salmon was absolutely disgusting. There was a hair in the salad. Did I mention a hair in the salad??? How are there any positive reviews for this place? I wish we could report this place but the town is so small and sketchy that they probably pay off the health department to overlook violations. Don't go here! I'd rather fast next time and skip eating all together than eat here ever again.

I went to Jeremiah's for a belated birthday dinner. I was disappointed there was no drink menu or wine list since they had a good sized bar. I ordered the carbonara pasta (no peas in carbonara?) and was disappointed it was such a small serving for $18.00. It came with a side salad with lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers. Cool looking place, good location. If I try it again, I'll be sure and not be crazy hungry before i go.

Today I ate at this favorite restaurant, family dining at its best, until I saw an item for sale in their gift shop, it was a plate the read "Don't do drugs! without me" I was shocked, time for some house keeping

The food is really good but bar and table service is very poor if you go here plan on flagging people down or going back and forth from the bar multiple times to get refills/drinks.
