Last week I was visiting my dad in TN for a few days. On the 2nd day I was there, we went to visit a friend of his who lives in Columbus for a little while. My dad's friends daughter called to check to see what the day's lunch special was and from how the conversation was going it sounded like it was something good. She told me that the special was pork chops with mushroom gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes. I thought that sounded pretty good and wanted to get an order to go.When I placed my order I asked for my gravy on the side. I don't mind gravy, but I usually like to get it on the side and drizzle on how much I want onto my food. The pork chops wasn't too bad, just a slight touch dry but they weren't too bad. They were seasoned well and the gravy was really good so I poured all of it on my chops. Green beans were also delicious and had chopped bacon mixed in them and not to mention the creamy homemade mashed potatoes that also came with a roll all for around $7.00.I will be back down south later this year and I would love to come back to try something else here at Jen's. I apologize I did not provide a pic of the meal. I was so hungry I completely forgot to take one.

Homemade reasonable price with a different lunch and dinner menu every day. They are closed on Sundays. The employees bend over backwards to make sure that your experience is wonderful and that you leave full and happy. If you want to spend the day at Columbus Park, however, have a hardy meal. This is the place to go. I loved how they also helped with things that we're not on the menu. The employees are friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. This wonderful restaurant is less than a mile from Columbus Belmont park. wonderful homemade food. Thank you for reading this review.
