Java Cafe

This place is a gem. The food is insanely amazing and John, the owner, is always there to be a friendly face and help out. It's a quaint place, and the food comes out fast. Coffee is great too!

My family and I have driven by this cafe numerous times over the past several years. An errand took me to the area, I wasn't in a particular hurry, the Yelp reviews were pretty decent, and so I thought that I'd drop in to pickup an early lunch to take home.The lunch special was a chicken quesadilla with a side item. I decided on the pasta as a side. Both were delicious, and well-prepared. If available, I would order both again.I decided to also get a reuben with extra sauerkraut. The sandwich was rather small for the price. If there was extra sauerkraut, I couldn't tell. The meat was chewy and had a slight amount of gristle in it. At least the rye bread was fresh and flavorful. I chose "cucumbers" as the side item. That consisted of a tasty tomato/cucumber/cheese/sweet dressing mix. Too bad that this eatery doesn't bother to remove the stems from the tomatoes. (When I worked in a restaurant many years ago, that was de rigueur.) I would probably not order either again.The ordering process was disjointed. I believe that there were at least two new employees there, trying to get their footing. There were four people behind the counter, and I was the sole customer inside. I think that the manager and chef were the only productive employees, as it took some time for me to get my food.If you want iced coffee, they put ice into your container, and then they instruct you to pump hot coffee from their self-serve containers in the dining area! I won't make that mistake ever again. (I'm guessing that it's highly unlikely that they keep ice cubes made of coffee on-hand.)There's limited outdoor seating located in front of the entrance. If you enjoy the ambiance of a parking lot and adjacent busy roadway, knock yourself out.This was my very first visit here, and it was a bit underwhelming. All in all, three-and-a-half stars, rounded down to three stars. I like supporting independent businesses, so I might return again, if only just to try other menu items. Be aware that each sandwich and side will set you back about $15.00. The total for my order was over $35.00, including tax.

I love this place so much I wish it would be open Sundays. We frequent it for brunch... which they serve till 11am on Saturday. We always get the same thing... hubs gets lox and bagel .... Which is ginormous! I get the breakfast burrito. I love taking it home and adding sour cream and avo. Love love the service here, fresh quality, and portion sizes. Great business!

I must start off by saying I was completely Wowed by the customer service here! I was immediately greeted not only by the workers but welcomed but an amazing aroma of meats and breads. I ordered the lox and bagel and it was BOMB! There was plenty of cream cheese and lots of onions which I Love! The salon was A1. There is a little sitting area out front to enjoy the perfect weather. I would definitely come back here. The food is fantastic and taste fresh! I would come back just for the customer service alone!

Their coffee and Latte's put Starbucks to shame which is a tall order. I'm not a breakfast person but their breakfast burrito is amazing! Employees are great and the place is always clean. They stay busy but I've always been able to get a table! It's a great cafe and we should all support our amazing local businesses.

Everything is good. My favorites are the lox and bagel.... Best ever. The French toast is off the charts and then when you need to scale back the calories, the Strawberry/chicken salad is delicious. They usually offer daily specials and those are also always delicious- there is a quesadilla they make regularly-get it when you can! Follow themOn social for updates!

What a find! This place is amazing - everything is good. Great staff, great location and a family friendly eating area inside or out. A+ for the amazing menu and creative coffee choices!

Wonderful coffee shop/lunch stop. This was my second time. The service is top notch. Genuine, loving and kind. The server who took my order made my day. The music was perfect and made me realize they are out for the Greater purpose and good of the Lord. I had the white chocolate peppermint mocha which was delicious. The lemon cookie and the chocolate chip cookie were delightful. So glad I stopped in today. Was uplifting from God. I will definitely be back. Thank you John and staff! Appreciate you!

Consistently Great Food!No matter what we order, it has been delicious!I very much like their breakfast and lunch, you can not go wrong. The staff is friendly and helpful - even at their busiest.

Good for a quick breakfast. I always keep it classic and they make my eggs just right (Medium plus). Staff is friendly. I prefer to dine on the sidewalk as the inside is pretty tiny.
