A great place to work out. I got a weeklong pass when I was here for work and the staff was great and the equipment was also wonderful. I would definitely come back here if I travel in this region in the future.

First time here, the staff was pleasant to deal with - had a guess pass from the Double tree Hotel so it was free for me.Could use a nutrition stand and more sanitizer. Machines were all in good shape, place is well cared for.

Gym itself is mediocre. I found myself missing Golds quite a bit. Equipment decent but not state of the art by any means. Cancellation policy inconvenient. No other gym I've ever been to makes you write a letter to their billing company and send it registered mail in order to quit. I had forgotten about this. I called to cancel in October because I simply wasn't using the gym. The person I spoke to who's name I do not recall didn't say anything about a letter being needed. In November my debit card expired and they could not auto bill anymore. They claim they emailed me but I never received any notification until a letter came in late November notifying me they couldn't bill my debit card. I brushed it off as a clerical error. A second letter came in early January that stated I owed over $260 in dues and penalties. This got my attention. I called and was informed I needed to write the aforementioned letter. I disputed but they said it was in the contract and there was no way they would waive the charges. I couldn't find the original copy so I went to the gym and requested one. They printed me a partial copy, which showed the verbiage in question. The assistant manager I spoke with promised to email (I provided my work email to ensure I would get it) me a scanned copy to pass along to my attorney for review, since the copy was cut off. I never received the email. So to add insult to injury, I now will likely (unless legal counsel advises otherwise) have to ante up well over $400 in dues and late fees (I learned they charge you for the month after you request cancellation) just to get out of a gym membership I wasn't using and no longer wanted. Any other gym in town, you simply pick up the phone and cancel. I blame myself for signing up there in the 1st place. It's a stupid mistake. If you covet flexibility and convenience, I suggest you look at Golds or better yet LIFT, 2 Jackson gyms who do not burden their customers with draconian contractual agreements. They are also simply better staffed and equipped. It doesn't seem to matter if you travel frequently or paid up regularly and made an honest oversight with these people. They will squeeze you for every last cent they can get if you don't follow their idiotic policy to the letter. I also got the impression I wasn't the 1st to fall into this trap. Buyer beware.

Jackson sport and fitness is a great gym, with a great staff, that have grown into great friendships, kid friendly, but also a place to hit the weights real hard, pool always clean, which is a plus for relaxing on the wknds with the family. Over all a quality gym, that I've been a member at for 10 years

Don't know why there aren't more reviews! Was impressed with all the amenities this facility offers. Plenty of free weights, and machines. A group fitness room with a variety of classes and a racquet ball court are also available in that same area. On the other side of the wall you have your abundance of cardio machines right next to a basketball court. THEN you go upstairs and you'll find a track and somewhat of a functional fitness/core workout area! And yes they have a pool!!! The entire facility was well kept and clean. The front desk people were always pleasant each morning. They provided me with a free access to their facility as part of my stay at the doubletree. Thanks guys for providing such an awesome facility to your community!

We are new members at Jackson Sport & Fitness and are loving it. The gym feels open and clean. There is childcare which is a HUGE plus for us. We've tried several classes and are especially enjoying yoga. The outdoor pool is fantastic as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Overall--- great gym!
