Jackson Downtown Dog Walk

I was very impressed with this dog park, especially with it being pretty much the first official dog park in Jackson. It is incredibly spacious and is all grass turf, which is great but as someone noted before does get muddy. There is parking nearby, a poop bag post, dog toys, a hose, small tub, and seats. It's in a nice part of downtown Jackson, right by Lift and some other shops.Also a random, but somewhat relevant, thing to note is that this is a dog park, not a playground. If you bring kids, they may get bored. But this park isn't technically for them anyway.The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was very muddy when we visited. I also hope they set up some obstacle courses or something to give pups some exercise and mental stimulation.

This is a pretty big dog park with real grass, real seats for owners, water dishes, parking nearby, double doggy gates, poop bags, and lights!! I was very impressed!

This is a gem of Jackson and the surrounding area. I have always felt safe at the park, and most everyone is friendly. The one down side of the park is the ground cover, which we are working on improving. During rainy periods it does become muddy. Also note that we have no choice except to turn the water off during the winter. Please read, understand, and obey all rules posted at the entrance. Have a great time!

What a tremendous asset for the city. My girls love it there. It pulls together a wonderful community of dog lovers and the dogs have a blast. Thanks so much for providing this for us!
