This place is still just as bad as they were before the tornado. I tried going again recently to give it another try and was disappointed again. I told the nail tech who was removing my old set, that it hurt and asked her if she could soak them, she replied "no, that takes too long," those were her exact words. So I just sat there in pain as she removed them...I get moved to another male nail tech who doesn't even acknowledge me and say hi, he just continues talking on the phone for 5 minutes or so while he's using the tool that buffs the your real nail. When I kept wincing, he asked if I was nervous and I explained that they were still sore from getting the previous set removed. I was getting a French manicure so I asked if we could use the white tips. He puts them on WHILE he's looking away talking and laughing with the other nail technicians so it's ends up so high on my nail he had to cut them shorter than I had originally wanted. Throughout this whole process I am well aware that they are talking about me, when I go to pay one of workers asked in a snarky tone if I had found everything alright. I said yes and just left. It's not a huge deal if your nails don't look the exact way I wanted them to, but I don't think any customer should have to sit and endure pain because it's not convenient for them. Moral of the story: there are plenty of other nail salons in JB that are more worthy of spending your money at than this place. At the end of the day they just don't care about their customers and it shows after visiting this place numerous times. Last time will definitely be my last.

I've been to this location about 6 times over the last few months. Their facility is really lovely and feels luxurious in comparison with its competitors. Overall I'd say the staff is hit or miss in terms of friendliness, some technicians are lovely and some are dour and aggressive. There are two things I'd caution patrons about based on my experiences- one is that I've never had a pedicure last more than 24 hours before extensively chipping from this location. The pedicure experience itself is fine, I usually opt for one of the specialty pedicures, and those are never exceptional nor bad in and of themselves, but without fail, the polish always chips by the next day. I've never had that problem elsewhere. The other thing I'd caution against is going there if they are busy. Rather than admitting they are too busy, they will try and get you in a chair and submerged in water or acetone, where you may be left waiting for up to an hour. I had a really awful experience today when I stopped in to have a gel manicure removed. They plopped me in a chair and submerged my fingered in a bowl acetone for almost an hour. It was really uncomfortable but I could tell they were busy. What was extremely stressful was when they began loudly and passionately arguing over who would have to finish my gel removal. When one gentleman finally acquiesced, he was so abrasive and in such a hurry that he carved huge rivets into all my nails, the nails themselves are so damaged I have I'm having to seal them over with a protectant to prevent further damage. Shoddy polish work and average pedicures are one thing but it was alarming to have my nails attacked with such resentful hostility. The only thing I can imagine is that he was bummed out that two clients who wanted far more expensive services than I did that day had come in after me and had grown tired of waiting (he promised them a fifteen minute wait and after about 40 minutes they walked out) It took an hour just to have the gel removed from my nails and the technician was painfully rude the entire time. That being said, if they're slow and you're not getting a normal polish job (I've never had gel or any other services rendered at this location and now I definitely never will lol) I'm sure you could expect a relatively e average and amicable experience...

Only gave them one star because I had to rate them. Talk about a hostile takeover. The guy assaulted my nails with such hostility, I felt as though I must have inconvenienced him somehow. Additionally, another employee was so inappropriate with my daughter that had I known prior to paying for sub par service I would have reported them to local authorities! Steer clear! Unless you enjoy having your cuticles ripped away like you are spending time in the Hanoi Hilton and your child sexually assaulted.

I was there yesterday and I wanted acrylic set.they say no gel last longer.i paid 60$ and as soon as I get home my nails have already chipped off. Press on nail last longer than this. I'm pissed I'm going back to there today as soon as they open. 60$ is a lot when there work is very unprofessional....

I DIDN'T let her take me out of my Character!!The female (manager/owner) has the the worst attitude. She embarrassed me in front off all of her patrons. She was mad because I complained about how a guy painted my toes. They had streaks in them like you are scraping the bottom of the bottle. She rushed through my nails and said that I wasn't worth (good service) her time. Simply because I took the time to pick a color for the service that I'm paying her. wanted my nails short, but I didn't. So since I didn't want her (opinion/choice)...She refused to help me find the color in a pic. All of that is to say one of my nails just broke in half since Saturday! This hasn't happened to me in a long time! Kelly usually does my nails. i was told that she had to stay home because of difficulties with her pregnancy.

They deserve NO STARS! I came to see where they taking customers during this pandemic (Covid19) because of the "Open" sign. The main lady, literally ran to the door and locked it in my face, while turning around like I wasn't even there. I would've accepted a "we're only taking appointment right now" but she literally locked and sat down. As I looked through the window she dismissed me and threw up her hands. After, getting in the car and feeling very disrespected; I called to see what was the reasoning for such a rude and dismissive gesture. She began to explain that they were accepting appointments only and I explained how rude she was. I will no longer be giving them my business. What's a good nail shop around the area that actually cares about their customers?

I've been here twice and both times my nails looked great. However, I did not appreciate the man who did my nails the second time. Don't go here unless you want to get touched inappropriately. I'm not exactly sure who the guy was, but he was grabbing my things for me to move me to another chair to let my nails dry. My phone was in my lap and he grabbed it for me then swept across my private area. I then sat down in the new chair and he shoved my phone between my legs and touched me again. I then tried scooting the chair up myself, but he didn't want me to "mess my nails up" so he adjusted my phone in between my legs, touching me in the same area for the THIRD time. This is when I began to feel uncomfortable and confused as to why he was touching me in that area and shoving my phone between my legs instead of just setting it on the counter with the rest of my belongings. He was also kind of rushing me to the chair and was inpatient. It was super odd of him and I didn't think anything of it until it kept happening then I realized it wasn't necessary and he meant to keep doing it. This is just a warning to anyone who plans to come here in the future.

Can I pick 0 stars? They are rude. The quality of nails is ok with certain technicians but not all are good. The price is ridiculous. Dip nails should not be as much as it is. Everyone around here charges too much though. I'm ordering the stuff on Amazon and doing my own. I'm sick and tired of the rudeness.
