This place is absolutely awful. The owner is a jerk and everything is ten times the price it should be. There are definitely other places you can find what you're looking for without having to pay this cheapo. It's basically cash only since your DEBIT and credit purchases have to be over $15. He cant even pay the .50 cent charge to accommodate the people that come through. Shows you a what a real Indian he is. Please go to Ar-Rahman its on Houston Levee, well-priced and sweet owners!

yay! finally found an indian store around this area! it's a small store but they usually have everything i'm looking for when i want to cook something for my indian friends. they have indian snacks, spices, frozen breads (my fav are the frozen parathas. you just heat in a pan and it's so soft and yummy), frozen paneer, even indian microwavables...everything you can think of. the guy who works there is very helpful too and is willing to answer any questions or help you find something.

The place has changed a lot since the new owners took over 6 months ago. The fresh groceries are now available. The selection has much improved. The new owners take time to educate you about ingredients if you have a question. The prices are very reasonable and you can always get great deals.I am glad for the location and convenience around Cordova area.
